The Truth About Dogs, chapter 13
I hung up the phone, and went out to my car. I looked inside, and noticed that it still had shit ALL over the interior.
"Fucking dog. I hope he gets put to sleep," I mumbled to myself.
I looked over at Adrienne's car. I knew she wouldn't want me using it, but I really didn't feel like messing up my new pinstriped pants.
I walked over to her car and hopped in.
It smelled like McDonalds. I fucking hate McDonalds. It makes me sick. But, Joey and Jake both LOVE it, so, Adie takes the kids to McDonalds a lot. She must have just got them some after school.
Hmmm... she didn't get ME any food...
Oh well, whatever.
I started up the car, and pulled out of my driveway.
I decided to take a little bit of time and travel across the Bay Bridge. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a dog walking down the sidewalk with a manila envelope in its mouth. I slowed down and looked more closely.
It was Pecker! As soon as I got off the bridge, I pulled over onto the shoulder, and started to follow Pecker.
He stopped and stood at the edge of the bridge, and dropped the manila envelope. As it fell from the bridge, it tipped over, and opened up.
"The tapes!" I yelled.
Pecker looked over at me and growled.
"I KNEW you stole them!"
Pecker started running towards me barking. I was going to run, but for some reason I didn't.
He jumped on me, knocking me down, and started biting me. I was trying to push him off, but every time I tried to grab him, he would bite me.
Finally, something distracted his attention. I pushed him off, and he rolled out into the street. He started to come back towards me, but a car hit him.
