The Scars Remind Us That the Past is Real, chapter 1
It was a Friday night, Billie and Erika were sitting on the couch in Billie's living room watching some random movie on TV. They were munching on a bag of chips and drinking.
"I can't believe this." said Erika.
Erika has been Billie Joe's best friend for several years now. They met in grade school and became inseparable. Erika has long blonde hair that hangs at her mid back. She has beaming blue eyes and a skinny figure.
"What?" asked Billie.
"It's a Friday night and the only thing we have planned to do is sit on our asses watching this lame movie that I have no idea what's going on."
"You mean you aren't having fun?" smirked Billie.
"Ha ha... But seriously, let's go do something."
"Like what? Mike and Tre are busy."
"I dunno... Let's go to a club for some drinks." suggested Erika.
"Okay." replied Billie Joe.
They got up off the couch and Erika grabbed her purse.
"I'm driving." said Erika.
They both got in her car and drove off. They were glancing around to find a nearby bar. Billie looked to the left of him and saw a small pub. He pointed to it,
"Hey, what about there?"
Erika followed his finger and glanced over.
"Nah, look for somewhere else."
They continued driving around for another 10 minutes till Erika pulled up into a small club.
"My friend mentioned this place to me, I thought we'd check it out." said Erika
Billie Joe and Erika walked up to the door, they showed their ID's to the front and walked in. They saw the bar right away and sat on a barstool.
"So, what's this place called?" asked Billie
"Galaxy." replied Erika.
The bartender came up to them and asked for their choice of drink. Billie just ordered a beer while Erika ordered a cosmo. They both sat there enjoying eachothers company and listened to the music. They stayed there for about 2 hours and decided to head on home. They walked out to the parking lot and got in Erika's car. They arrived at Billie's house.
"I had fun tonight, thanks for takin me." said Billie.
"No problem, I had fun too." smiled Erika.
Billie leaned over and gave her a platonic kiss on the cheek and opened the car door. Erika waited for him to enter his house before waving and driving off.

The next morning Erika was awakened by the sound of her phone. She rolled over and reached out to grab it. She looked at the screen and saw "Incoming call: Billie Joe". She flipped it open and answered,
"Hello?"
"Hey Erika! Were you sleeping?"
"I was. What time is it?"
"It's 2:30, sorry for waking you."
"It's okay. So what's up?"
"I just wanted to know if maybe you wanted to go to the movies today."
"Uh, yea sure. What time?"
"Well, when you're ready to go, I suppose. Oh and I was thinking maybe we can have like a double date thing."
"Okay, sure... I'll call someone."
"Awesome... So like an hour or something?"
"Okay, I'll pick you up."
"No, I'm gonna go with my date, I'll meet ya there, okay?"
"Okay... Bye BJ!"
"Bye."
Erika hung up the phone and went to the bathroom to take a shower. She pulled on some jeans and a t-shirt and applied some make-up. She grabbed her phone and called up her friend. She decided that she was gonna meet em there. When Erika parked her car and walked up to the theater Billie was already there with his date. She walked up to the couple. Billie Joe leaned over and gave Erika a hug before quickly introducing them.
"Erika, this is my date, Adam."
