Family Man, chapter 8
Katie walked up stairs, she said that she had to use the bathroom. Matt stayed downstairs with Billie Joe, Mike, Tre and Adrienne. Katie could hear parents and Matt talking and laughing. "If only they knew what he did to me." Katie thought to herself.
Suddenly, Katie heard a knock at the door. It was Tre, "Katie, are you decent, I want to talk to you."
"Yeah, come on in Tre." Katie replied.
The door opened and Tre walked in, he closed the door behind him, "Why are you so quiet today? Its really not like you." Tre asked.
"I want to tell yu Tre, but my parents can't find out. No one can" Kaite said, her eyes filling up with tears.
Tre pulled Katie into a hug, "Whatever it is I promise that I won't tell your parents. Apparently whatever it is, its really messing you up."
Kaite pulled away and wipped her eyes, "You promise."
Tre put his hand over his heart and did the scouts salut.
Katie laughed. Then her Grin faded and tears started to flow from her eyes again, "Matt raped me."
"What the fuck?" Tre said, astonished.
"Yeah. We went to his house and his parents were gone. He started to get changed and I covered my eyes. He grabbed my wrists and pushed me down." Kait paused to wipe her eyes.
Tre was crying to now.
"He pulled off my clothes and raped me."
"That bastard. That little fucker. I knew something was up when you didn't really say hi to all of us." Tre exclaimed.
"He said that if I tell anyone, he'll kill us all."
"Yeah right. I'd like to see him try."
"Thanks Tre." Katie said, "For listening."
"I know. I just feel so bad for you. You know me and Mike love you like a dughter. I think you should tell him, Just don't tell Billie Joe or Adrienne yet. Not until he leaves."
"Tre, I love you, like you're my second dad. And Mike too. But I just don't know when i'm going to tell Mike. Matt will be standing around me all night."
"Tell Matt that you have to use the bathroom, and i'll send Mike up. But not for another few hours, Matt will get suspicious if you have to use the bathroom every half hour."
"Yeah. Well I'm glad he's preoccipied bty talking to Dad right now."
"Well I'm going to go down now. Just come down after you have a shower ok." Tre kissed Katie softly on the head and gave her a quick hug, and left.
Katie started the shower, she felt so dirty and used. She scrubbed her skin untill it was red. She had to get Matt off of her. She turned the water off. Walked to her room and threw out her clothes. She got dressed and put on her make up. HSe heard the door bell ring and knew that people were starting to arrive. "Well, its time to live my lie." Se thought to her self as she practiced her laugh, trying to act happy.
Katie walked down the staris and sat in the chair, away from Matt. Matt was talking to some of the celebrities that Billie Joe was introducing him to. Tre glanced from Katie to Matt and then to Billie Joe.
*2 Hours Later*
Katie was happy to finally be away from Matt. Billie Joe had pulled him away to show him his guitar collection. Tre walked over to Katie, "I think you have to use the bathroom."
"Yeah. Please go tell Mike to meet me upstairs in my room."
Kaite walked over to Adrienne, "I have to go use the bathroom, please tell Matt when he comes back."
"Sure babe." Replied her mother.
Katie walked into the house and up stairs to her bedroom. 5 mins later, she heard a knock at the door, "Its Mike. Tre said that you have to talk to me."
Katie opened the door, "Come in here, I don't want him to know where I am."
"What are you talking about?" Asked Mike.
