This is Big Brother. We have a superstar guest., chapter 1

"I bet you couldn't. You have moments when you can barely deal with your best friends, let alone a bunch of strangers. You'd never survive 10 weeks of it Billie Joe and you know it."
"Yeah I could. It would just be like tour, but without the moving and in a bigger space, which I think removes most of the things that make us stressed. We'd manage, wouldn't we guys?" Billie Joe looked over at Tre and Mike who were leant on the bar behind them as he took another gulp of the drink someone had pushed in front of him.
"Hang on. What do you mean we? This was your bet dude. There is no way I'm doing the whole trapped in a house live on telly thing. I have a life." Mike didn't seem convinced at all by this plan.
"But, Mike, I've always been there for you, do this one thing for me and I'll love you forever..." Billie Joe shuffled over to Mike, leaning his head on the taller man's shoulder and looking upside down into his eyes. "Go on, you don't want this lot to win do you?" Billie Joe waved his hand in the direction of the small group of people who'd been following them round on tour for the past 8 months. Most of them called Jason.
"You know what? Sod it, we could do it. We'd win hands down, come out with the prize money and everything. We would be so good."
"There you go!" Billie Joe high fived Mike, "We are so doing it and we are so going to win."
"All three of you?" Jason didn't look convinced, any of them.
"Yeah all three of us." Billie Joe had definitely decided he was in charge of this.

_*_*_THREE DAYS LATER_*_*_
"So remind me again why we're here?" Mike looked distinctly unimpressed as the black people carrier that they'd been bundled into turned a corner, the blackened windows hiding the massive crowd that surrounded them.
"Because Billie Joe made a bet with the tour band guys and he'll never let something he could win drop." Tre rolled his eyes, yelping slightly in surprise as Billie Joe swiped his hand at his head. "What was that for?"
"The sarcasm, you could have said no." Billie Joe was sulking now, or at least he was until the car door was opened for them and the crowd was revealed.
"Holy shit!" Tre shouted, but it was drowned out by the sound of a hyperactive TV presenter with a microphone shouting at the crowd,
"OH MY GOD! AND HERE ARE OUR SPECIAL GUESTS! IT'S ONLY INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTARS GREEN DAY!"
"Oh my God! Where?" Tre imitated the presenter, spinning round with his eyes wide, grinning madly. The crowd laughed and cheered, sounding like they didn't really get it.
The three of them strode down the gangway in the middle of the crowd, dragging their suitcase behind them, managing to look like they wanted to be there. As they reached the platform in the middle of the entrance the hyperactive presenter dashed up to them and started shouting again.
"SO GREEN DAY," she pushed her mic under Billie Joe's nose as if his name was Green Day, "what BRINGS YOU TO THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE?" The three guys looked at each other, Billie Joe signaling to the others not to let on that it was all just a bet.
"Well," Billie Joe started to answer as the presenter pushed mic even further into his face, "it seemed like a good idea, a different experience I suppose."
"Something to fill time between tours." Mike cut in.
"NOW HAVING THE LEGENDARY TRE COOL HERE DOES THAT MEAN WE'LL SEE THE FIRST EVER ACTION IN THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE?"
"Well, that all depends on what you've put in there for me doesn't it?" Tre raised his eyebrows as the presenter giggled trying to sound innocent.
"Well, I THINK YOU'LL HAVE FUN!" The presenter got even more bouncy now, "AND NOW ITS TIME FOR BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG, MIKE DIRNT AND TRE COOL TO ENTER THE HOUSE! HAVE FUN GUYS!"
The huge white doors slid open as the music to 2001 played loudly, replacing the presenter's voice. The guys walked up the steps to the door, stopping to go through the whole search thing and to do the obligatory wave at the crowd, then walking inside.
The door slid shut.
"Why do I get this sense of impending doom?" Mike still looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but where he was as he followed the other two, who looked vaguely interested, almost excited, down the flight of steps and towards the place that would be their home for the next 10 weeks.
