This is NOT a fucking love story!, chapter 8
The police department wasn't too far away. But when she stood in front of the building she was so scared that she thought about not doing it. The next second she remembered Kendall and what he did for her, so how in the hell could she leave him alone in a situation like this? It gave her a little confidence and she entered. It was pretty full. Lots of people were standing around and talked to officers with anoyed faces. Tina went to the next officer who seemed to be free and asked. "Where can I find Kendall Teague? He's accused selling illegel CDs."
"Hold on a second. I'll look," The officer answered friendly and looked through the paper on his desk. Tina didn't felt to good, standing there in the police department surrounded by people she hated.
"Ah...here we go." Holding up a paper. "He just came in...well...okay I guess he's up there." The cop pointed behind him.
"Thank you," Tina muttered and walked off.
Far in the back of the department she saw him sitting alone in a room surrounded by glass. Poor guy, she thought. Kendall didn't saw her coming, cause he was staring at the desk in front him. Tina looked around, if anybody was watching her, but it seemed that everybody was busy with something else. She walked slowly to the door and opened it really quietly. "Hey," she whispered, scared that someone would hear her. Kendall looked suprised up. He looked exhausted, but as he saw her standing there, he finally smiled again.
"Hey," he whispered back. Tina sat down on the chair at the opposite of him.
"Dude, why the hell did you do that? Now they'll send you back," she didn't sounded as mad as she wanted, but Kendall grinned.
"I know that I have to go back, but now you can go to your concert." Tina stared at him like he was insane.
"Kendall," she whined. "That's so stupid. That's the most retared thing anyone did...for me," she continued.
"I'll call you when I'm back home?" He smiled at her.
"Okay, I give you my number," Tina wrote her number on a little piece of paper.
"Gosh, the concert won't be so mch fun without you," Tina finally brought up a smile. Kendall had something else in mind and so he made a new start.
"Hey I just wanted to tell you..."
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING YOU DOING HERE, LADY?" someone behind Tina yelled. She was so shocked that she couldn't even move.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" The voice yelled and Tina got up. Behind her was standing a mad police officer.
"Bye Kendall," she said softly and then turned to the cop. "Dude, calm down," and left fast the department. She felt a little better now that she had seen him.
The next days were horrible. She felt so empty and alone. In school everyone seemed to stare at her, 'cause I didn't took too long until the whole school knew what was going on. She tried to ignore them all, the only ones, who helped her staying alive in this time, were her friends. Especially Jule was there for her, cause she missed Kendall, too.
On the evening before the concert, Tina was lying on the couch and watched T.V... She wasn't too sure, if she should really go to the concert. Sure she already had the tickets and everything was planned, but something inside of her told her
to not go. Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of the phone, but she didn't move. Just a little later her brother came in. "Guess it's for you. I can't understand what her's saying." He gave her the phone and left.
"Hello?" Tina asked tired.
"Hey lady!" A voice at the end of the line answered. "How's going? Looking forward to tomorrow?" It was Kendall and he sounded pretty good.
"Kendall? Oh my gosh, how are you?"
"I'm fine, so what's up with tomorrow?"
"Well, I dunno, if I'm going," Tina answered slow, but realized fast that it sounded stupid.
"Don't be retarded, you've looking for this concert since when...like a half year."
"I know, but...." Kendall interrupted her.
"Don't let it be my fault. Just go and have some fun. Dude, we're still friends, alright?"
"Yeah, sure we're still friends," she answered absent.
"Hold on, I got another call," Kendall said. Tina stared at the T.V. She missed Kendall more than just a friend. She felt more like she lost a big part of her life.
"Hey, you still there?" Kendall was back on the phone.
"Yeah."
"So you're going to the concert?" Kendall asked again.
"Yes, I will," Tina answered, she didn“t wanted to argue with him again.
"Okay, you better," he laughed. "And you better get on that fucking stage."
"Well I guess that's up to the guys, if I get up there," she said smiling a little.
"Okay, I just wanted to make that sure. We'll talk later."
"Okay, bye Kendall. Have a good time," Tina hung up. After a while she went to bed and before falling asleep, she thought about several things. But she had to fight hard to ignore this strange bad feeling inside her stomach.
"Hold on a second. I'll look," The officer answered friendly and looked through the paper on his desk. Tina didn't felt to good, standing there in the police department surrounded by people she hated.
