Billie Joe's Girlfriend, chapter 7
"Tre.." Dylan began, "I don't really think we should be together, you're more like a brother to me. I do love you its just that, well..." Dylan said.
"Go on," Tre said, encouraging her to go on.
"I really do love Billie.. I'm sorry Tre."
"Hey Dyl, it's okay, I knew when you saw him, I just knew you would never love anyone as much as him. And you're like a sister to me too!" Tre smiled.
"Thank you so much for understanding. I better go tell Billie!" Dylan said as she kissed Tre on the cheek. She grabbed her bag, put her shoes on and sprinted up the street to Billie's house.
Dylan opened the white gate and just stood there.
Did she really love Billie? Or is she just over thinking things?
Dylan slowly walked towards Billie's front door. Dylan twsited the black doorknob. All of these thoughts were bugging her like a misquito that won't go away.
Dylan opened the door.
No one was there, but why was Billie's car in the driveway?
"Billie?" Dylan asked out loud. She heard a laugh come from upstairs.
As she got closer to Billie's bedroom, she heard talking. Dylan figured it would be better for Billie to know that she wasn't here. He might get pissed. Dylan put her ear against the door to hear what was going on inside the bedroom. 'Please don't let it be a girl, please dont let it be a girl!!!' Dylan thought.
She couldn't hear anything anymore, she decided to go in, she couldn't wait any longer.
Dylan opened the door, the TV was on, that was where the laughter was coming from and the talking.
Dylan didn't see anyone, maybe he's in the bathroom.
The bathroom door was shut. She knocked.
"Billie? Look, I know you're mad at me and everything, but can we please just talk about this?" No one answered.
Dylan twisted the door handle to the bathroom.
There he was...drenched in his own blood.
"Go on," Tre said, encouraging her to go on.
