Those Electric Green Eyes, chapter 1

"Hey! Watch out you freak!" I yelled at some random guy who had just pushed me into the wall.
"Hey, don't make me your burden. I didn't mean to. Just chill loser," the stranger said.
"Don't call her that you fuckin' redneck." said a mysterious voice.
I quickly spun around to see guy with black hair, a misfits shirt, and some old ripped jeans that looked like he had worn all week. Yet, something about him fascinated me, like I couldn't stop staring at him. Then it hit me, those electric green eyes were addicting. I suddenly realised what I was doing and snapped out if it. All I saw were two guys face-to-face, ready to explode.
"What are you going to do about it bastard?" asked the overly large guy with a rude tone.
"Well, for one, nothing because I'd rather be doing anything else than wasting a few punches on someone like you. Second, don't push her. Learn some respect," said the one with a calm voice. Why was he sticking up for me when he didn't even know who I was?
"Whatever, I need to get some fresh air, Bye."
Suddenly the stranger who so politly took up for me turned to look at me straight in the eyes.
"I'm sorry, guys can be so rude. Oh, pardon me for not introducing myself. I'm Billie Joe Armstrong. Nice to meet you...ugh..I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name..."
"Erm...Kate...and...ugh...thanks." I was so nervous that I couldn't take it anymore. I just abruptly turned and quickly ran off before he could say anything. God dammit why did I have to be so rude to someone who actually took the time to stand up fore me, or even notice me.
Well, maybe I should give you someback background info on myself. My name is Kate Smithson and I am not your average teen. I am most definatly a social outcast. My black hair with blue streaks in it seems to scare everybody. With an earpiece constantly blasting out music from one ear, and 3 earrings in the other, people don't want to be by me. My rebellious attitude makes people not want to get to know me. All I have a is shitty mother, a shitty house, two shitty legs to walk one, and a guitar. A Stratocaster to be exact. My dad died when I was young in a car crash, so I didn't get to know him very well. Now at the age of 15, my mother is so poor and lazy that she can't afford to help me get a car. And nobody wants me to work for them because they think that I will scare away all of the costumers. Well anyway, back to the story....
As I walk home I can't stop thinking about those eyes, those gorgeous eyes. Suddenly I felt a hand on my back. Just reacting as stupidly and quickly as possible, I turned around and punched the person in the stomach. That's my people skills for you. Its not my fault, I am just so nervous, plus karate from 3rd to 7th grade kinda helped my self-defense.
As I looked down to see who it was,the first thing I saw were those same pair of electric green eyes.
"Oh Billie Joe I'm so sorry, you just scared the living hell out of me." I said shakily as I helped him up from off the ground.
"Don't worry about it, I probably would have done the same thing. Do you mind of I walk you home?" he asked.
"Erm...sure. But I'm not into the dating scene right now. So if that's what you're looking for sorry but I'm not interested." I said, he was handsome, but I had to be honest with him.
"Oh good I'm not either, it's just that I hear the music that you listen to everyday. It's the same kind I like, punk. So I have been waiting for the right moment to talk to you, and I thought when that guy shoved you that it would be the perfect chance." he said in a nervous voice.
"Oh well, thanks, yeah, punk music is awesome. Well here is my house, thanks for walking me home. You're pretty cool for someone I just met."
"Thanks, and...umm...well, do you want to hang out at the music hall tomorrow with me and some friends? If you don't want to I'll understand but I would really like it if..."
"Billie, of course I will. I'll see you there around 5 tomorrow. I gotta go, bye!"
"OK, it's a plan, bye" Billie said as he turned around to head to his place. As he walked away slowly, I knew he was thinking the same thing that I was thinking, this is going to work out.
