Raising Juliet, chapter 12

Billie wandered for hours for Juliet in the pouring rain. He had her mobile with him so there was no chance in ringing her. He read her text messages wondering if there was any other reason why she is gone.

Hi pres it's Jewls! U ok?

Yeah... its not working out!

?

I'm sorry, ok! I need some1 more mature. You're 2 young!

Billie sighed. He put the phone down. He had to pretend he knew nothing. She will know he's been reading them otherwise.
He pulled up outside the park to see a wet Juliet on the swing talking to some guy. He got back in the car and watched them.
"So why have you come here?" the boy asked.
"My rents...I get no attention and I don't ask for much. I get enough from mom, but my dad thinks I need space!"
"Well don't we all?" he asked.
"Yeah, but I'm getting too much space."
"I'm like that with school. No one talks to me! They all jealous because...Never mind!"
"Yeah! All I'm known as is Billie Joe's daughter!" Juliet sighed.
"Really! That's cool!" he said casually. "I'm Harry!"
"Potter?" Juliet laughed.
"Ha, no, Panic!"
"You're...You were the groom in PANIC! at the disco! Coolness!" Juliet laughed.
"Yeah, I'm their guitar player. How have you heard of us, we're only local and that video was only shown to people who came to the meeting at school!"
"The weird emo girl at the back!" Juliet put her hand up. "What year you in at school?"
"I'm in year 12, I'm 17," he said.
"Cool, I'm in year 11," Juliet said. Billie started to get out the car. Juliet sighed.
"See you at school, Harry!" she said, sighing. Billie smiled and waved at Harry.
Juliet got in the car not looking at Billie.
"What's up!" he asked.
"Mom's pregnant, Joey is doing drugs, you won't listen, Preston's dumped me! Ow, nothing!"
"Who was he?"
"Harry Panic. From..."
She stopped.
"Yeah?"
"FUCK IT!" she said.
"Juliet! Mom's not pregnant, ok! She went to the docters, I will speak to Joey, but now it's your chance, so I suggest you take it, alright?" Billie snapped.
"Ok!" she sarcastically said.
"What's your problem?"
"YOU! One for the razorbacks, dad! What did that mean? You haven't even tried. Ask me how my day was. Moan at me when I'm talking to guys. You used to! Where's the old dad?"
"You were younger then. Your mom...She told me your growing up. You know your blossoming and growing..things!"
"EWWW, stop!" she laughed. "I don't need 'the talk!'"
