"I've Done Twins", chapter 1

Mike opened the bedroom door, where Leah and Courtney were lying in bed together.
He smiled softly and shut the bedroom door again.
Leah heard the door close and opened her eyes. Her twin sister was asleep facing her.
Courtney was holding Leah's hand. She pulled her hand away and stood up.
Leah was extremely good friends with Mike, Tre and Billie. Leah went into the lounge
Room. Tre was playing his Play Station games, Billie was writing something down into
His notebook and Mike was watching Tre play.
"Hey," Leah said softly.
"Weren't you asleep just before?" Mike asked, smiling and moving over so she could
Sit down.
"I was," she replied, "Until one of you came in and woke me up."
Billie looked up, smiled, and pointed to Mike.
"Ah," Leah glared at Mike, "Thanks."
"Sorry," Mike replied, "I was just checking on you."
"LEAH!" Came a cry from the bedroom.
"Obviously Courtney's awake, right?" Tre said, with most of his attention still drawn
to the game.
"Obviously," Leah sighed, rolling her eyes. Courtney ran into the lounge room and
Jumped up and down.
"There's a spider in our room!" She squealed, "Lee! Do something!"
"Try killing it, that usually works," Joked Tre.
"Yeah, I killed a spider once, I never saw it again," Commented Billie in a know-it-all
Tone. Leah stood up, again, and brushed her long dark brown hair away from her face.
Her sister did the same.
"What are you gonna do, Leah?" Asked Courtney.
"Make it a pet," Leah said sarcastically.
"Oh, you're so funny, you should be a comedian."
"You think?" She teased.

Billie looked up from his notebook and hummed a tune. Tre started beat boxing, well... tried to, and Mike sat back on the couch making sounds like a bass. It sounded good.
"Well," Grinned Billie, "I believe I just got a song down."
Tre laughed, "What's it called?"
"I have no idea," Billie replied, sounding a little lost.
"That's a stupid name for a song!" Scoffed Tre.
"That's not the actual name," Billie snapped, "I'm just saying, it doesn't have a title yet."
"How about..." Said Leah, coming back into the lounge room, holding Courtney's
Shoe in one hand and holding Courtney's hand in the other. "... Leah Just Killed A
Spider!"
Billie pretended to think about it, he started to sing, "Leah just killed a spider...she kept her emotions inside of her..."
Mike laughed and added, "Her twin sister's Courtney... She's so..."
Tre quickly said, "Haughty."
Courtney glared at Tre, "No I'm not," She protested.
Billie half shrugged, "I'm sure that'd make a perfect song."
"Well," Started Courtney, "You'd need to change the title, so I'm in it."
"Leah Just Killed A Spider (Courtney screams)," Tre suggested.
"Leah Just Killed A Spider (With Courtney's Shoe)," Laughed Billie.
"That's my shoe?" Screeched Courtney, "Gross!"
Tre threw his controller down and sighed, "I lost."
"Aww," Billie said, looked sympathetic, "My heart goes out to you."
Tre turned around to face Billie and blew him a kiss. Billie pretended to catch it and stood up, he smacked his ass.
"Kinky," Tre winked.
"Only for you, baby," Billie joked.
"Um..." Mike said, looking disturbed, "Ew."
"Yeah, ew," Added Courtany.

Later on in the night, Tre stood up, and went to the fridge, he came back with an
armful of beer.
"Well, anyone interested?" He grinned.
"Right here!" Courtney said, immediately standing up. Courtney's soft blue eyes lit up as Tre threw her a beer.
Courtney and Leah were identical. The only way the boys could tell the difference between them is the two single red streaks in Leah's hair, right near her fringe. Tre and Billie got them confused quite easily, Mike never did. He'd be able to tell them apart even if Leah didn't have streaks, because Leah also had a small freckle right on the side of her forehead.
Courts wasn't really girly, she dressed kind of normally. She modeled when she was younger and had a terrible fear of bugs. Bugs were her pet hate, her phobia and the most putrid thing in the world, in her opinion. Leah wasn't girly at all, she was a tomboy from the moment she was born. Leah was oldest by seven minutes and not shy or scared of much. But Leah and Courtney were always close, no matter how different they were, and how bad their fights were.
Billie closed his notebook and hooked into his beer.
"Tre, where'd you get these?" he asked.
"Nowhere," Tre replied, "They just appeared out of nowhere, it was amazing."
Mike smirked, "Yeah right, where'd you get them?"
"I stole 'em," he answered, "The neighbours left that mini bar in the garage so I just thought 'Hey, free for all! '"
Courtney sniggered, "Good attitude."

Later...

Courtney woke up and looked around. She was totally surrounded by beer bottles. The house was dark, quite and looked pretty empty. Tre was asleep on the couch. Leah, Mike and Billie were probably in their beds. Courtney went into the kitchen to get a glass of water. When she opened the fridge, a small amount of light filled the room.
She felt a hand on her shoulder. Courtney nearly screamed until she turned around and noticed it was only Billie.
"Man, you scared me," She laughed, breathing heavily.
"Sorry," He grinned, "What are you doing?"
"Getting a drink," She replied, grabbing the water out of the fridge.
"Coincidence," He smiled, "So was I."
The stood in the dark, in silence. Billie put his cup down and let out a quiet 'ahh' in satisfaction, then, a discreet burp. Courtney giggled.
"Excuse you," She said.
"Excuse me," He said coyly.
They stared into each others eyes for a moment, but to Billie, it felt like forever.
Courtney smiled and quickly said, "Goodnight!" Before rushing off to her bedroom
Feeling like an idiot.
