Dreams come true, chapter 4

"Tre, I have to confess something." I said.
"What is it?" Tre asked as he sat up in the bed.
"I honestly don't think I know you that well, re-scheduling the wedding was the best."
"What do you mean you don't know me that well?" Tre asked.
"I feel like I know you, but I don't know you." I said, emphasizing the 'know'.
Tre chewed on his lower lip and avoided my gaze. I needed to come clean about everything or else I'd feel bad for leading him on. Tre stopped chewing on his lip.
"I have an idea." He said.
I gave him a puzzled look.
"This weekend we're going up to the cabin and spending the entire weekend by ourselves and all we're going to do is talk. Will that be okay?" Tre asked, looking at me with pleading eyes.
I smiled at him and nodded my head.
"You're the best Tre." I said.
"I know. Can you please turn out the light, I'm tired."
"Of course."
I reached over and switched off the lamp. I turned over on my side and soon felt Tre's strong arms wrap around my waist and his face rest on my neck. His breathing leveled out and I knew he was asleep.

Tre parked the car just outside of the cabin. He opened his door and stepped out into the chilly air. I stepped outside of the car and looked around. Tre came around to my side of the car and put his hands on his hips.
"Like it? Tre asked.
"I love it." I said.
Tre let me go and went to the front door. He fished a key from a plant and unlocked the door. Tre used his shoulder to pry open the stuck door. I followed him inside and turned on a light.
"Kind of dark in here." Tre said.
He vanished into another room and in a few minutes I heard crackling. I went to investigate, only to find Tre crouched down feeding wood to a blazing fire.
"Just so the place will warm up a little." Tre said as he noticed my presence.
I smiled at him and leaned against the wall. Tre closed the glass doors on the fire and stood up, brushing off his knee. He put his arms around my waist and buried his face in my neck. I put my arms around his neck and twirled my fingers in the hair at the very back of his head. Tre was the sweetest guy I'd ever met. This weekend would be fun.

The weekend was the best ever. Nothing happened, but it was still awesome. I felt really close to Tre now. Maybe I could marry him after all. I was still undecided and I didn't want to bring up the touchy subject in front of him.
"Thanks for the awesome weekend." I said.
"Glad you did." Tre said.
I finished unpacking and came up behind Tre. I gently put my arms around his waist, pushing my body tightly to his. Tre let out a squeak. My hands traveled further up his shirt, and rubbed his chest. Tre slipped my hands out of his shirt and turned around so he was facing me. His lips connected with mine, sending shocks. Before I knew what was happening I was on the bed. The air around us suddenly became very hot.

I opened my eyes slowly as the sun peaked in through the shades, sending a beam of light onto my face. I rubbed my eyes and looked over. I was lying crooked with Tre holding my calf. I groaned and moved Tre's hand off my leg without waking him up. I pulled the sheet with me, wrapping it around my body and leaving the bed spread covering up Tre. I went into the bathroom and ran the hot water so I could have a warm shower. I stood beneath the warm water, and washed up. Last night was the best night of my life.
