Not Quite There Yet!, chapter 1

"We've got a lot of work to do if we want to finish this album by the time we DIE!" stated Billie Joe
"I know Billie but we need to take our time if we want this record to be perfect, plus we just signed to this new record label and we need to make sure that this is the one for us." replied Mike in an annoyed way. Billie had been saying that a lot lately, he was getting kind of annoyed that it was taking so long to record this album.
"Hey guys listen to this!" Tre was beating on his drum set, as he always did trying to find cool new beats.
"That's awesome Tre, but do you think it will fit the type of song it is?" asked Mike.
"Mike this isn't for the song, I just thought it sounded cool!" Tre was known for goofing around in a serious time.
"See this is why we aren't getting anything done! We keep wasting our time on useless junk that won't even be on the album!" Billie Joe was getting mad; he just wanted to work strictly on what was going to be on the album and nothing else.
"You know I guess you are right, we need to start working on the new album we can't just sit around like this every day, even though we cant take things too fast, your right about one thing Billie, this is too slow." Mike knew that it was time to start work, this was a serious topic, and it couldn't be pushed away like it was nothing at all.
"Guys it's already 11 p. M let's just go home, and get a brand new start tomorrow." Billie Joe was getting tired of being in the studio all day long; he just wanted to go home.
*Billie's point of view*
I cant believe we only have 8 songs finished! We have been working on this album forever and it is about time we finish it... I am sick of not doing anything all day, hopefully tomorrow we will get something done! I got into my car, I got it for my 18th birthday, from my mom. It was a small black car, I didn't mind the size it was perfect for just what I needed... Getting around. As I was driving home I realized I had forgotten to call Adie. With all of my time spent at the studio we barely have time to talk anymore.
Right when I walked in my door I called Adie (Adrienne), I hope she's not mad at me, I told her I would call her at 3 or so and I forgot... (phone conversation)
Adie: Hello?
Billie: Hey babe, it's Billie.
Adie: Hey, you told me you would call around 3... What happened, are you ok!
Billie: Yeah I'm fine, I just forgot to call, we were at the studio all day, I am so sorry.
Adie: Oh, that's fine I am just glad you are ok...
Billie: I am surprised you are up this late, after all it is almost 12 p. M
Adie: I couldn't sleep, just thinking of you... I miss you so much!
Billie: I miss you too, hey, do you suppose you could come out for the summer? We should have the album done by then! Please...
Adie: I don't know, it's a long way away, I would have to ask my parents... Can I call you back tomorrow?
Billie: Yeah sure, anything for you...
Adie: Stop being so mushy gushy!
Billie: So tomorrow?
Adie: Tomorrow! Love you!
Billie: Love you too... Bye

I am tired! I hope she can come over the summer. I miss her so much and we never get to talk anymore, let alone see each other. She's the greatest girl in the world, I want to be with her for the rest of my life!...

Adie: Oh, that's fine I am just glad you are ok...
Billie: I am surprised you are up this late, after all it is almost 12 p. M
Adie: I couldn't sleep, just thinking of you... I miss you so much!
Billie: I miss you too, hey, do you suppose you could come out for the summer? We should have the album done by then! Please...
Adie: I don't know, it's a long way away, I would have to ask my parents... Can I call you back tomorrow?
Billie: Yeah sure, anything for you...
