All They Would Ever Need...Eachother, chapter 1
Billie woke up and realized it was Wednesday, he had to go to the studio, once again. It was his birthday today though, 21. He had been waiting for this day for years! Billie Joe really didn't want to go into the studio today, but because it was a new record label he decided not to call in fake sick, even though he was feeling pretty crappy. So after making that decision, he forced himself out of bed. It was already 8:00 A.M! He only had two hours before he needed to be at the studio.
After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out what to wear on his 21st birthday, he finally made up his mind and got into the shower. It was February and as usual it was freezing in his house. He couldn't afford heating, after all, he moved out when he was 18! So in return the warm water felt good on his skin. He started to drift off into a daze, when he heard something in the downstairs of his house.
Billie quickly finished washing, got dressed, and slowly crept downstairs. He heard footsteps coming closer and then... he was surprised to see who it was! It was Adrienne, his girlfriend of 3 years... Billie Joe and Adie (as Billie Joe liked to call her) met on his tour for Kerplunk, it was love at first sight. Billie ran over to her and gave her a big hug, and a very, very, long kiss on the lips.
"I- missed- you so- much!" Billie Joe was trying to talk in between breaths.
"I- missed- you- too- and by- the- way- happy- birthday!" she didn't want the kiss to end either but suddenly it did when Billie looked at the clock hanging on the wall.
"Oh, shit!" It was already 9:45 and it took a while to get to the studio.
"Adie, come with me!" Billie had no time to waste. He had to get to the studio.
"Where are you going?" Adie figured it was to the studio, but she wasn't sure.
"I have to be there in 15 minutes, and it's all the way in Oakland! Come with me, we'll talk on the way, please... "
"Of course I will come with you, are you crazy?"
Billie Joe quickly put some eyeliner on and spiked his hair. Then the two of them left, together.
