Billie Joe, How Could You?!?, chapter 4
"Ronny please, get out of my room," Cassie said. Ronny nodded. He walked out of her room.
"Night," he said. Finally he was being nice to her.
"Night," Cassie said back. She went over and turned off her lights. She climbed into bed. She lied there for a while....thinking. Her thoughts contained of Billie. She couldn't stop thinking about him. And yet... she longed to see Daniel. Her heart ached for him... even though he said they were through. She was trying to push Daniel out of her mind. She wanted to forget about him. He broke her heart and yet she missed him. After a few hours of thinking she drifted off into a deep sleep.

Cassie was standing in a desolate corridor. She was waiting for some one, but didn't know who or why. She heard a voice coming closer to her.
"Cassie, I love you," the voice said. She turned around, it was Daniel. She smiled at the sight of her boyfriend.
"Daniel I've missed you so much," she said happily. She stood still and watched him run towards her. As soon as he was close enough to hug her he disappeared.
"Daniel? Where'd you go?" she asked looking around. Soon Billie appeared. She smiled as she noticed she wasn't alone.
"Billie! You're here," Cassie said. Billie smiled as a girl walked up to him. She grabbed his hand. They turned away and walked off.
"Billie? Where are you going? Please wait," Cassie said running after him. Soon Billie and the unfamiliar girl disappeared. She was left alone in the corridor again.

Cassie woke up. She was breathing heavily. There were beads of sweat on her forehead. She put her hand to her forehead and brushed back her hair. She glanced at her alarm clock. It was 1:00 A.M. She sighed and laid back down.
"It was only a dream," she whispered. She closed her eyes and fell back asleep. She woke up to the sound of her mother's voice.
"Cassie wake up. It's almost time for school," Candice said. She was shaking her daughter slightly. Cassie simply rolled away from her mom. Candice got up. She went over and turned the lights on. Cassie pinched her eyes shut. The light was burning her eyes since she was in darkness for at least 7 hours. She grabbed her pillow and covered her head.
"Cassie get up," Candice said sternly. She went over to her daughter and ripped off the covers. She grabbed Cassie's feet and pulled them over the edge of the bed. Cassie toppled out of bed. She sat up. Her eyes squinting. She soon got of her messy bedroom floor and went over to her dresser. She took out black baggy pants with chains on the pockets and a red t-shirt. She walked into the bathroom and started the shower. She laid her clothes on the countertop and got undressed.

15 minutes later, Cassie ran downstairs after her shower was over. She made her breakfast and got ready for school. She ate her breakfast and then ran back upstairs. She walked into her room to find her make up and fix her hair. She found her eyeliner under a pair of clean underwear on the floor, her eye shadow under the bed, and her lipstick on her dresser. She put on her make up and fixed her hair just in time. The bus was waiting outside to pick her and her step brother up. She put on her shoes and raced her Ronny down the steps. They grabbed their backpacks and ran outside. They got on the bus.
"Hey Cassie, over here!" shouted a familiar voice. Cassie went over and joined Billie and Ronny sat with some girls. Mike was sitting behind them with an unfamiliar boy. He had ice blue eyes, a crooked smile, and green hair.
"This is Frank," Mike said laughing.
"My name isn't Frank," the annoyed boy said, "I'm Tre Cool. The drummer of Sweet Children."
"Hi, I'm Cassie. Don't mind me asking. Who's Sweet Children?"
"It's our band," Billie said.
"Oh, I'd love to hear your music," Cassie said feeling stupid.
"We have a gig tonight. Do you want to come?" Billie asked.
"Hell yeah," Cassie said excitedly as the bus came to a halt. The kids filed off the bus. They walked towards the school. Cassie was nervous. She was afraid she would get lost and not find her way back. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Billie. She smiled.
"We have the same classes. I'll show you around." he said. He led her into the school and to her locker. It was net to Billie's and Tre's since they asked if it could be. The day passed quickly. Before Cassie knew it school was over. She had so much fun with Billie. During lunch, Billie had offered to walk her home. She said yes. She waited at the door for Billie to come. He caugth up with her and started to walk off.
"What time is your gig?" Cassie asked.
"It's at 9:00. I'll pick you up tonight." Billie said. Cassie nodded. She reached out her hand for Billie to grab. Billie did so. He smiled. They walked hand in hand until they got home.
"I'll see you tonight," Cassie said before kissing Billie's lips. She placed a hand to his cheek. His hands lowered down her waist to her butt. They stood there, lip locked, for a while until Ronny broke it up. He didn't want his step sister kissing some punk rocker. He pulled Cassie away and back inside.
