Locked in the Attic. (Joey and Jakob), chapter 3
They continued their story until they reached the main road. They were all happy because they were all together again. They went to the hot dog stand and both children had 2 hot dogs each and Adrienne looked at the boys and smiled. Billie said, " You wanna go to the park? " The boys jumped up and down and screamed " Yes!" together so Joey and Jakob ran off and Billie shouted, " Hey wait! " But the boys were so excited that they ran on until they reached the next road crossing. Adrienne and Billie were running down the street after the boys. They were really trying hard to laugh but because they were out of breath, the were coughing and laughing and when they all reached the park they collapsed. Joey jumped up and started teasing Jakob and Billie laughed and Adrienne just lay there panting because she was exhausted.
Meanwhile...
Mrs. Kimberley had been rather annoyed that the boys had escaped. She had been looking for them and hadn't found them. The police though, had found her and they took her away. She was in chains and screaming her head off. She was sentenced to 26 years solitary confinement.
As it began to get a little late, Billie suggested that they go for a meal at a nice restaurant. Adrienne said it would be better if they went home. Billie said, " Aaahhhh, yes it would. " So off the 4 of them went with Joey talking about the Crocodile Hunter, and Jakob listening and asking questions. They got into the car and when they arrived home, Billie told the boys to go in first.
Joey and Jakob went inside to find a huge party waiting for them. They had every kind of food they like and all their friends and other people had been invited as well. There was also to massive presents. The boys eyes went so wide they nearly popped when they saw the presents. Jakob opened his very slowly and screamed when he saw what it was. It was an electric 4x4 for children. Joey ripped off his paper and gave his Mum and Dad a huge hug. Jakob did the same.
About 3 hours later after an impute food fight, Billie swinging from the chandelier and breaking it, Joey and Jakob got ready for bed. Adrienne read them a book called Little Red Riding Hood and the boys drifted off to sleep.
They were safe now that they were home again... Or were they...?
