This isn't right., chapter 3
Tre walked into the bathroom naked.
"What the fuck" I asked, as I checked him out in the mirror.
"Fucking unicycle accident okay, end of conversation" he snapped.
I poked myself in the eye with my eyeliner and jumped back
"I wasn't saying that, I was saying that you just walk into the bathroom naked when your best mate's girlfriend is in here. And, what do you mean... oh, don't worry" I say, looking at his package- or lack of.
"Yeah, yeah laugh it up" he whipped me on the ass with his towel.
"Ow, bastard" I yelled and ran out of the room with my hands over my ass.
I ran into Billies' bedroom and jumped on his bed.
"What the fuck" I heard him say. Then I realised I had jumped on top of him.
"Oops" I giggled.
I was in a good mood. Three coffees were part of the reason, but another reason was being with such positive people.
We always had fun, but it wasn't just sex, booze and drugs. It was real normal people fun. Like movies, and pizza and I managed to drag them shopping and got them to buy me things.
To the date, Billie and I had been dating for about 2 weeks.
"Why are you so cheerful?" Billie asks.
I smile "Well, I'm dating the most gorgeous guy in the world, who just so happens to be a fucking awesome musician, with the most beautiful smile and deep gorgeous green eyes in the world. And whose credit card is just full of lovely money for his lovely girlfriend."
He sighed "Why so I always choose the expensive ones?"
I kissed him softly on the lips "I've got to go home for a while, but we can go shopping later, Great idea. Bye baby."
He sat there speechless as I left the room.
Tre came out of the bathroom in a pink hat and a towel
"What the fuck?" I question
"Oh, just a little something I wear when I want to woo my significant other," he winks.
I laugh and give him a small hug "I'll be back later." I start to walk down the hall and Tre takes off his towel and whips me with it. I scream and turn around, seeing only Tre in his naked gorgeousness.
"Real nice Tre," I say sarcastically and turn around and walk away.
"You know you want me," Tre yells to me down the hallway. He looks into Billie and watches him staring at him in the eye "What?" he asks Billie.
Billie shakes his head and falls back onto his bed.
"Joseph." I walk into my silent house. It smelled like Joseph and not me for once. It had food in the cupboard, and it was actually clean. My bedroom was spotless, all the floors were vacuumed, mopped or otherwise, all our things were dusted down, benches wiped, dishes washed. It was perfect. And I was confused.
"Oh my fucking god Amy." He ran out and gave me a huge hug.
"Okay, okay. What'd you break?" I joke "Nah. I missed you."
We both started laughing for a strange reason.
I stopped, remembering why I was here in the first place.
"What's up Amy?"
"Boil the jug, make some coffee. This isn't gonna be easy," I said.
Three minutes later we were sitting in the dining room.
"Joseph. I'm...dying."
"I know Amy you told me."
"No," tears welled up in my eyes "I feel like its happening."
Joseph leaned forward and grabbed my hand. I looked down and a caught breath escaped my mouth. A knot built up in my throat. I was dying, and there was nothing I could do about it.
"It hurts so much. To know that everything in my life was finally going right, and I won't be around to enjoy it. Jo, I can't tell Billie and the boys. They will get hurt. I have to stop seeing them. And, I'm falling in love."
Joseph nodded understandingly "Listen, Amy. You need to tell Billie and Tre and Mike the truth. Look, have them over for dinner tonight, and then you can tell them," he said.
I leaned over my coffee mug and inhaled the hot fumes.
"They won't understand. I'm dying Joseph."
"Stop saying it, please. Amy I love you, you know that. And this is hard for me. I can't imagine how hard it is for you. But all I'm saying is you have to be honest"
I shook my head "You don't know how I feel."
"I know honey. I know" he pulled me into his arms and gave me a strong, warm hug.
I wanted it to last forever.
"Hey, this is Billie's phone. Sorry I'm not here right now, so leave a message then call me back later. K, bye." I hear his message bank finish with a beep.
I clear my throat "Hey baby. It's me. So, anyways can you and the boys come over tonight for tea? I have something important that you should know. Okay, love... Uhh, bye." I hang up and kick myself. "FUCK" I yell "Why'd I say that?"
Joseph shook his head and returned to his book.
"What the fuck are you reading?" I asked in a bitchy voice
"Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets." He showed me the cover.
I laugh "You idiot."
