The Rock And Roll Girlfriend, chapter 11

The nurse stood there. It does not look like she will make it. There is a chance she will live. But it is very slim I will let only one at a time see her. Try to keep it less than two minutes. She may not be listening but she will maybe remember you. She may forget a few things. But we do need to ask you a few questions.
"Who does she live with?" asked the nurse
Kendal was going to speak but Tre stopped her." She lives with me" said Tre
"We just moved in together"
"Do you know who shot her?"
"No, but we think it was her ex. Joey." said Billie Joe
"Or."Tre stopped
"Or what. Who were you going to say?" asked Mike
"Stacy" said Tre
"No, I'm pretty sure it was Joey." said Mike
Do you think it was a suicide?
"Suicide? Why would she do that? She had no reason if it was a suicide!" yelled Tre
"Well she had lots to drink. And where she was shot. She could have done this herself." said the nurse
"No, it's not like Lindsey to do that." said Kendal
"I looked back at her records and she had two suicide cases before. "
"She doesn't seem like the girl that would do that." Said Mike
"Well you can go see her now. One at a time pleases."
"Tre you can go first." said Mike
He shook his head." I want to go last." said Tre
"I will go first." said Kendal
Kendal hugged Lindsey." I'm so glad you're alive" said Kendal
"Promise me if I go you will make sure nothing happens to Tre."
"I promise" said Kendal
Billie Joe walked in. He hugged her and held her hand.
"Billie Joe promise me you will take care of Mike, Kendal, and Tre. Make sure nothing happens to them. Especially Tre."Said Lindsey.
Billie Joe tried to hold back the tears. "Lindsey stop talking like your going to die."
"I heard the doctors and the nurses they say I probably won't live." said Lindsey
"Lindsey I never told you this but your one of my best friends. I can talk to you about everything and you listen. Sometimes I wish I met you before Tre did. But Tre loves you much he would probably die if you go. You have to stick with us. I made a promise to you that I would make sure nothing happens to Tre, Mike, and Kendal. I want you to promise me you will live." said Billie Joe but the nurse walked in to tell him that his two minutes were up. Mike walked in. He kissed Lindsey.
"Mike promise me you will marry Kendal and take care of her. And watch out for Tre and Billie Joe." said Lindsey
"I talked to Tre. He is a mess. I never saw him like this before. Please Lindsey if there is some way possible. Live please. We will all miss you." Mike walked out and Tre walked in. Tre hugged Lindsey. He would not let go.
"Tre I love you." said Lindsey
"I love you too." said Lindsey
"He got what he wanted." said Lindsey
"Who?"asked Tre
"Joey, he shot me. He wanted me dead and that is what he is going to get." said Lindsey
"Dead. No don't say that you are going to live!" said Tre
"Tre promise me something."
"What?"
"That when I'm gone you will move on. Go on with life. And take care of everyone. Get your life back together and don't grieve for me. Please Tre promise me." said Lindsey
Tre started to cry." NO I can't Lindsey. I can't. How can I go on? How? I love you so much that I don't want you to go. I can't believe that you are going to let Joey take your life away. You can't let him get what he wants. I can't believe you. I thought you would not let him get away this time. You can't give up" said Tre
Tears welled up in Lindsey's eyes she started crying. "I want you to know I had the time of my life with you"
"Don't talk that way."Tre said quietly. He held her hand. He noticed her pulse was slowing down. She smiled at him."Tre these days with you were the best days of my life. I love you Tre."said Lindsey. She stared at him for a while then she closed her eyes. Her pulse slowed down. Then the heart monitor went dead." Lindsey wake up. Lindsey. No how could this happen."Tre stood up "Nurse, Nurse, Nurse someone help this girl is dying. Someone please help" yelled Tre
