You'll Never Know What You've Done For Me, chapter 3

I woke up the next morning staring, eyes half-lidded, into the glowing neon green numbers of Rupe's clock. 9:32 am. The bright color seemed to be screaming at me and sent a sharp pain to my head. Damn you hangovers... I thought to myself climbing exasperatedly out of bed.

I wandered down the hall to the living room. As I passed the bathroom I heard the shower running and a slight giggling. It struck me as odd, but I continued on to the living room to find Sam and Nicole still lying on the floor and Rupe lying on the couch watching television.

"Mornin' Krizia," Nicole said with a smile as I curled up beside Rupe.
"Morning dear," I replied.
"Have you seen Chazz this morning?" Rupe asked after kissing my cheek.
"No, is that him in the shower?"
"Nah, that's Roi."
"Roi? Shower? Wow."
"Haha, Amanda's in with him."
"It's prolly the only way he'll bathe, smelly man he is."
"Aww, why are you so mean to Roi?"
"Because he's smelly."
"Fair enough."
"Oi! Sam is here! Pay attention to Sam!" Sam said in a whinny voice.
"Oh, hush up. I'm hungry. Who wants to go out for breakfast?" Nicole stated.

We all decided to go to some local cafe. Seeing as he needed the shower time, we left Roi in the shower with Amanda.

"Kriz, would you mind fetching Charles for me?" Rupe asked as we were headed out the door.

"Sure," I said, and walked back down the hall to Chazz's room. Gee, thanks Rupe. Let the girl with the hurt ankle go fetch your little brother for breakfast... I mumbled under my breath as I knocked on Chazz's door.
"Yeah! Come in." He shouted. I opened the door to find him laying in bed scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

"We're going out for breakfast, c'mon," I stated, standing in the doorway.
"Ahh, come in and sit down, I can't be bothered at this exact moment."
I sighed and did as I was told. I watched as Chazz wrote, then scribbled out, then wrote again. Finally he stopped and sighed. "Krizia, I need your honest oppinion."
"Okay, shoot."

"How's this for a song: 'You'll never know what you've done for me, the days and nights together care-free. I long for the day that I make you my own and I cherish the times that we've spent in our home. I love you my girl, your heart and your soul. So thankful you dragged me right outta this hole. Punk rock princess, forever I'll spend each penny on you, my dear friend."

I was stunned. "Chazz, it's wonderful."
"No, I'm not done. 'And I know-and I know, life gets harder as you will discover but, Carry on-carry on.'"
"Chazz. Everything you have written from Jr. High on was amazing. And why is my oppinion so important?"
"Because...just because. Anyway, breakfast, woohoo!"
"Yeah...okay... They're all waiting for us so we better get goin." Then we both got up and started out the door when Chazz stopped me.

"You're limping."
"Yes I know. That's your fault."
"I seriously hurt you? Oh god, I'm so sorry..."
"Chazz, don't worry. It was my fault for spazzing out."
"Let me carry you?"
"That's not really need-Holy shit!" Chazz scooped me up mid-sentence and carried me out his bedroom door.
"You're welcome," he said with a chuckle.
