Though we may be annoying, our life is fun., chapter 1
"My life, heh, you wanna know about my life? Well, to begin with, my mum, she is an alcoholic, drug addict, nothing more, nothing less. She married when my dad died when I was ten, married to an equal drunk. I can remember the day my dad died, my sweet loving daddy. He was all dressed up for his friend's wedding, it would be in a week, he was trying out his suit. My mum had asked him to go to the store, to get something for dinner. Then, at that time, she wasn't like this, she was nice, caring, and her system clear of drugs. My dad asked my older brothers, David and Allan, to go with him. I was up in my room singing to Look for Love. My mum came running up the stairs about an hour after dad'd left, she was crying, told me and my sisters to hurry up and get in the car because something had happened to dad. We raced into the car, heading for the hospital. That is all that I can remember right now."
As I sit here looking out the broken window of the old wooden shack, I hear a noise behind me. I turned around and looked to the door. Mike and Tre' walked in, smiling.
"Do you always have to talk to that camera, Billie? It won't do any good, everyone already knows your life story." Mike sat down next to me.
"Mike, they know about my dad's dying, but I have a much bigger life story."
"You sorta start it freaky."
"Okay, you go ahead and make one, tell about yourself." Tre' stood in front of the camera, adjusting it so that he could sit down. He sat on the old torn couch, crossing his arms and putting his feet on the table.
"Okies people, about me. I am Tre' Cool, very cool, eh? I love to pick my nose when I get bored, and my butt, it itches a LOT!" Me and Mike started laughing while Tre' looked at us like he was confused. "What, did I forget to add something? Oh yes, my friend Billie here, he sleeps upside down when he gets scared." I looked at him, eyes wide.
"I do not!" then I remembered the morning I woke up after walking in on Tre' when he was getting in the shower, I had nightmares that scared me like no other. I guess he was right, in a way.
"Remember yet, Billie?" he asked, looking at me.
"Arhhg, I'm a pirate!" we looked over to Mike who had gotten up to the bathroom, "I'm a pirate." he said.
"What, did the toilet help you find that out, or have you just gone to Never Never Land with Peter Pan?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled.
"Actually, Tre' helped me find it out. He showed me how much of a man I really am." I looked at Tre' and raised an eyebrow.
"I took him to a dance party and he met some girls." Tre' looked at Mike, "but, I don't remember telling you that you were a pirate."
"Maybe the toilet helped out a little, and Peter Pan might have..." he said, looking away. I looked at him and smiled, shaking my head.
"What ever happened to you, I don't know, but I do know this: you have not turned into a man!" he looked at me and stuck his tongue out.
"I am more of a man than Tre', he only has his left nut!" Tre' looked offended.
"How do you know? The only person that could is Mr. I know how to walk into the bathroom when Tre's getting into the shower!" They both looked at me.
"Wasn't my fault, you didn't lock the door!" Mike laughed.
"He has a knack for leaving doors unlocked." Mike said to the camera. Tre' got up and turned it off.
"They don't need to know that." he said sharply. He walked back over to the couch and sat down.
