Horny, Corny and Loving You, chapter 9
I woke up early the next morning and went to take a shower. After I put on some clothes I left there and came back downstairs. Tre was sitting up in bed with his head in his hands.
"Good morning," I said cheerfully. He moaned in response. He must have a horrible hang over. I'm so glad I don't drink much.
"My head feels like its going to explode," he said.
"Do you want me to get you some Advil?" I asked. He nodded so I got him some he took it and I sat down on the bed beside him. We decided to go up to the living room.
"You were smashed last night. Do you remember anything?" I asked as I sat down on the couch. Tre sat down beside me.
"I vaguely remember Billie asleep on the bar," He said. I laughed.
"Yeah it's not the first time he's done that." I said remembering the last time he had gotten drunk. I remembered them both passed out in the car last night.
"You and Billie professed your love for each other last night. I was very jealous." I said. He laughed.
"Well Billie is pretty shmexy," he said.
"What about me?" I asked pretending I was jealous.
"Nobody is as shmexy as you," he said kissing my neck. I giggled and kissed him and then we started making out.
"Good morning," Mike said startling me. I pulled myself off of Tre and saw Mike standing in the doorway coffee mug in hand. Why does he always do that? I wondered.
"Good morning," Tre said a little annoyed that Mike had interrupted us.
"Morning Mikey, where's Audrey?" I asked.
"Shower," he said I nodded. We all went in the kitchen and sat down at the table. A few minutes later Audrey came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of Mike's shorts and a t-shirt. She came into the kitchen and sat on Mike's lap. She kissed him.
"Awww you two are such a cute couple," I said just to annoy Audrey.
"Shut up. When we went to the mall all you could talk about was Tre." I blushed. Tre was smiling. I was about to say something about her stalking Mike but Billie came into the kitchen.
"Good morning sleeping beauty," Tre said.
"Leave me alone," he said. I pointed out the Advil I had left for him on the counter and he took it. He was really wasted last night.
"I thought you loved me," Tre said pretending to cry. I laughed at him and Billie stared at him oddly. I explained to him what had happened last night. He laughed.
"I'm sorry Tre but it would never work. We're just too different and besides I don't think Lisa would like if we ran away together." he said. I laughed at him. Tre pretended to cry more getting laughs from Mike and Audrey.
"It's ok Tre I love you." I said comforting him. He kissed me. The guys went and got dressed and then joined us in the living room where we watched cartoons for a while. My Little Pony was on and I insisted on watching it despite Billie and Mike's protests. The show was one of my guilty pleasures. Audrey didn't care and Tre wanted to watch it.
"You do know this is a girl's show," Billie said, mocking Tre for wanting to watch. Tre nodded.
"I love ponies," Tre said in his own defense. We all just laughed at him and continued to watch. Billie and Mike lost interest after around five minutes and went downstairs to practice. We heard them in the background over the hum of music from the TV.
"What's your favorite pony?" Tre asked me.
"I don't know which one's your favorite?" I asked thinking he would have no response.
"I like Buttercup," he said. I laughed at the fact that he knew the character's names.
"You know there names?" I asked.
"I love this show." Tre said. I couldn't tell if he was serious or not.
"Which one is Buttercup?" I asked him amused.
"The yellow one," Tre said as if it was common knowledge.
"But there are like five yellow ones. How can you tell which one is which?" Aud asked joining the conversation.
"It's a talent," Tre said. Me and Audrey laughed at him and made fun of him.
"Shut up your making me miss the show." he said. This made Aud and I laugh more but then we shut up and watched the rest of the show. After the show we went downstairs where Billie and Mike were still practicing for their gig later that week. Tre joined them for a while and Aud and I watched.
"I'm hungry." Tre whined after they finished going through their set for the second time. We all went up stairs to the kitchen and searched the cabinets for food but all that we had was a stale bag of chips and Chinese leftovers.
"I'm going food shopping." I announced as Billie was trying to determine when the Chinese food was from. He gave me some money and told me a few things to get. I was just about to leave when Tre wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Don't goooooooo," he whined.
"If I don't go were all going to starve to death or get food poisoning from the Chinese."
"Let me come," he whined.
"You can't even stand being away from me for half an hour?" I asked.
"Nope," he replied.
"What's gonna happen if you guys ever tour?" I asked.
"I'm gonna kidnap you and make you come with us," He said matter of factly.
I gave in and let him come with me. I grabbed my keys and we went out to the car.
