sad in photographs that you absolutley
love her.[i]

My head hurt, my eyes burned, and my heart felt like it was cracked right down the middle. I cracked my eyes opened and the burning increased as the sun hit them. I pulled my black bedding over my head and closed my eyes tightly.

Mom started to pound on my door non-stop. "Wake up! Wake up I say, wake up!" She hollered threw the wood. I groaned and burried my head into my lumpy pillow. "Go away..." I mumbled, "Just go away, please."

I figured that she was never going to just walk away without having her way so I carefully crawled out of bed. I felt dizzy and my head started to pound. This is what we call a hangover boys and girls.

"Get up you lazy rat! I am tired of taking care of you!"

I just shook my head and walked into my bathroom. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. My eyeliner was smudged all over my face, my hair was ratty and greasy and I reeked of alcohol. I grabbed a blue towel off the floor and set it on the sink while I started the shower.

When it was warm, I stepped in.
After ten minutes, I got out, wrapped the towel around me and stumbled back to my room. I pulled on tight dark blue jeans with holes in the knees and a fitting-black Joey Ramone memorial t-shirt.

I pulled my dark brown hair up into a messy ponytail and grabbed my black chucks off the floor. I sat down on my bed and pulled them on.
As I did so, I turned on my radio where Operation Ivy played out of the speakers.

When I was done, I grabbed my black and red skull earrings from my night stand and put them in. "Are you gone yet?!" Mom screamed from the living room. I rolled my eyes as I put in my right earring.

When I was done getting ready, I walked threw the door and into the living room. "Get out..." Mom hissed, "GET OUT!"
I shrugged and walked threw the front door.

I walked down the empty cracked side-walk until I hot my destination. "Hey, Adeline, over here!" Tyler shouted from an old car. I walked towards him.
