The New Girl, chapter 4

I woke up to the alarm clock the next morning, feeling really tired. I knew I hadn't slept much. Just for four hours or something. I had just thought about Jill, and the French kiss. I felt so good, and couldn't wait to go to school. It felt really weird, 'cause I had never looked forward to school before.

Ding dong!</> Mike was at the door.

"Hi mate," I said and smiled.

"Awh, the date went good then?" he said in a weird voice.

"Yeah! It went really great. We talked, and talked, and talked. And when I had followed her home, we kissed. You know, with tongues and everything!" I said really excited.

"Oh, cool. How was it?" he asked.

"Uhm, it fe-" Mike cut me off.

"Wait a sec, did you say you walked her home?!" He then said.

"Uhm, yeah. I know it's far from here, but I just had to!" I said and smiled, once again.

"Hm, well. How was the kiss than?" he asked.

"It was great! You know, I have French kissed before. But it was nothing like this. This is the best kiss I've ever had!" I said and smiled the biggest smile ever.

"Naah, lucky you!" he said and hit me on the shoulder.

"Ha-ha, very funny. But it's true" I said and looked serious.

We were about to enter the school when someone poked me. I turned around and there stood a girl with the cutest smile ever. It was Jill.

"Hi," she said and smiled from ear to ear.

"Hello" I said. I wasn't really sure what to say, I didn't know if she looked at me like her boyfriend or not. But I surely hoped so.

"Um, can I talk to you for a second, in like.. private?" she asked and looked down, she blushed and looked really embarresed. Maybe it was because of Mike, he just stood there. I think he looked for Chris or John, so he would have an excuse to leave. But he didn't find any of them, so he just said he would leave. And he did.

"Well, I just wanted to say that I had a really good time yesterday," she said, still looking down. She looked at her shoes.

"Oh, well so did I," I said and looked at her smiling. It was like she felt I was looking at her, because she stopped looking at her shoes and turned her head at me. She smiled too.

We looked at each other for ages, well it sure felt like ages. Then I took her hand and leaned forward, then I kissed her. She kissed me back. Now it felt even better than last time, my stomach lurched. When we stopped kissing, she looked at me laughing.

"What?" I said, hoping I hadn't done anything wrong.

"You just look so cute when you have your hair like that" she said and touched my hair.

"Like what?" I said.

"All messy, kind of," she said and laughed. Oh God, I loved her laughter.

"Haha, well I know. My hair is so beautiful, and I'm always cute," I said ironically.

"Well you are cute, that's for sure. But I did got more to say to you. Well, I just wanted to ask if we were like a couple now or something. I hope so, 'cause I really hope that you don't use to go 'round and kissing every girl you see," she said and laughed.

"Well, actually I do," I said. "No, I'm just kidding," I continued.

"Well, are we a couple than?" she asked.

"Yeah, if you want to?" I said while making puppy eyes.

"Haha, piss off," she said and kissed my cheek. "I have to go to class now, see you later," she continued.

"Yeah, bye sweetie!" I said.

[i]Hm, that was something new. I had never called someone "sweetie," before, but it felt right to call her that. 'Cause she really was. Sweetie. I was so happy at the moment! I had never felt anything like this before. Poor guy who doesn't get the chance to feel this.
