I think it was the awesome concert!!! They started off pretty sweet with the American Idiot song which is their major hit for their top album. Tre Cool came on with an expression of excitement and hard thrashing drums to get the crowd going crazy. Then Mike came along with Billie Joe who started with 'Who doesn't want to be a American idiot?' Then they got into the new album with 'Holiday' and 'Jesus Of Suburbia'. After a few of their new songs they get into some of the many classics like 'Basket Case', 'Welcome To Paradise', 'Brain Stew', a lot of them from the 'Dookie', 'Warning' and the '1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours' songs which were awesome. I was totally out of it. I think it was a big moment when Billie Joe said: "One of the Rolling Stones rolled a huge joint and guess what? I SMOKED IT ALL! ' That got the whole crowd screaming and going crazy. Then they started to play more songs and more songs, one of them being 'King For A Day' where he got the whole crowd making an orgasm sound and being mooned while Billie Joe was shoving his hands down his pants :) Anyhow, he also did his own version of 'Stand By Me' which was really good and funny. Later on in the evening they played 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' and 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreams' which made a huge lighter rage break out considering it was one of the 'moment' times. They got a huge encore for throughout the entire show playing at least 20 songs or maybe more. It lasted 3 hours long which was awesome! I was high above the hills and being in the front of the mosh pit was worth every single penny. Green Day still has the touch of performing to crowds ranging from young teens to the people who grew up with this group. I've been around the same amount of years as Green Day when they were 15 ½. I'm proud to say that I have all their albums, which are still played on my radio and Walkman, and everytime I hear them on the radio I go insane and sing along like the song called 'Time Of Your Life'. That was the final song they played and they had a huge fireworks display which allowed the group to leave the stage. That was an amazing thing. Green Day is an awesome band! They will always be the number one band in my heart.
