Auburn Hills, MI Palace Of Auburn Hills, September 10th, 2005
For one, the concert was in Indianapolis, IN at the Canseco Fieldhouse on September 13th, 2005. I just had to pick a close enough date 'cause it wasn't on there!
Here it goes, It all started out with Jimmy Eat World! They were ok, but not at all as good as Green Day! After Jimmy Eat World was done the clean up dudes were taking away they're stuff and putting up Green Day stuff!
When they were done, this guy in a Pink Bunny costume comes out with a Miller Light Beer Bottle in his hand! Everyone starts yelling, " Chug it! Chug It! Chug it! ." So the Bunny starts Chugging it! It was so hilarious and then he almost fell off the stage! The Backround music was the Go song! Then all of a sudden the Pink Bunny runs off and goes Backstage and out comes Green Day!
Here comes Billie Joe, Tre and Mike running out playing, "American Idiot". I started to scream my everliving brains out (LOL). Billie Joe was so freakin' hott! I was like OMFG, I'm at a Green Day concert with Billie Joe in person!
Holy freakin' crap! Then Billie Joe was like, "Let's Go Indianapolis!!" Then he introduces Mike, Tre and himself, but he says I'm George W. Bush. Everyone starts booing and then he says "I'm an asshole". Then the crowd was screamin' so loud!
After that they did, Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, King for a Day (of course with the crown and robe) so hott! Plus, Shout, Good Riddance, We are the Champions, Boulevard of Broken Dreans, Are we the waiting, St. Jimmy, Whatsername, Wake Me Up When September Ends and a heck of a lot more!
For Boulevard of Broken Dreams he practically sang it to me! I mean he was just staring into my eyes for three fourths of it! I was like holy s*i*! I was on top of the world! I am still in shock!
Then after that Billie Joe started to squirt water at us! I was like OMG it's holy water because Billie Joe is A FREAKIN' GOD!
After that crap he started picking people for the "Band" that were gonna get to come up and play (bass, guitar and drums. Billie Joe was asking them how long have you been playing, are you any good, swear to fucking god? Get your ass up there!"
Then Billie Joe was looking for a guitar player and he was like: " How old are you?" The guy said 18. Billie Joe goes: "Have you ever been laid before? Huh? Have you ever had Sex before? No. Billie Joe goes: "Well, you're about to get laid, now get your ass up on stage!" The guy even got to keep the guitar.
This was a life changing experience! Totally life changing! If you ever have the chance to go! Say, Hell Yeah I'm goin'! HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!
