Well, when we got there we had to wait a while, you know. Then I run up to the huge windows and I can hear Green Day practicing Letterbomb (love it). Then I start freaking out because they didn't open the doors right at 7:00
and then we get in. I buy this Green Day strechy bracelet and a Green Day dog tag. Love it!
We were going to rent binoculars because Billie Joe always moons the audience and we got my best friend Colleen a pink Green Day T-shirt with Green Day on the front. and a wrist band. And we got our seats and sat down.
There are these weird girls infront of us and they look twenty and Billie Joe is 33 about to be 34 in February and they told us they had a picture of Billie's "thingy" as they called it.. And I was like okay. And my friend was speechless because that was so darn nasty. The concert finally started.
This unknown band (I didn't know their name) came on. They were okay but when they bursted out Flames it sounded like fireworks. It was so loud. The lead singer said: "Are you ready for Green Day!?!" and everybody cheering and screamed and said they would come on right after this next song but NO.
They played 3 songs instead. I was so mad. Green Day finally came on and I was screaming my instestins out. I was screaming/singing so loud that my best friend couldn'y hear Billie Joe sing.
When American Idiot came on I was recording it and it came out perfect. It's so cool. When Boulevard of Broken Dreams came on I was so happy because that's my second favorite song. And OMG, it was wonderful! Billie Joe was finishing King For A Day and this other song "YOU MAKE ME WANNA SHOUT!!!" And he was humping the stage. I was laughing my butt off. It was so hilarious. And there's Japanese people behind us. And then I see Eric Manley from school, Colleen and I laugh then go to the floor then grab all this convettii and stuff it in my Green Day purse. That was the bestest day of my short 11 years! And I'm going to another one when their next album comes out.
