Tears

The grass sways sharply
Bowing to the wind
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

The tree branches rustle
Controlled by the howling wind
A tear slips out my eye

The stars laugh at me
Making the silver glint by my side
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

I pick up the knife
And hold it to my chest
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

I thrust it into my waiting heart
The heart waiting for Death
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

My spirit and my memories
Slip away from me
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

My spirit and my memories
Rejected by the bowing grass
Rejected by the rustling branches
Rejected by the laughing stars
Rejected by the heartless moon
The loveless moon
The beautiful moon
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

My spirit and my memories
Flow back into me
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

I lay down my head, my hands and my feet
As the wine pours out of me
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

At last death comes closer
And my eyes begin to close
A tear slips out my eye
But i wipe it away

I take one last look at the bowing grass,
The rustling leaves,
The laughing stars
I take one last look at the heartless moon
The loveless moon
The beautiful moon
I take one last look at the beautiful moon
And finally close my eyes.

As death takes over,
A tear slips out my eye
But i let it fall.
