TBC was developed as an expansiongame

Though not as memorable I believe it's because WOW TBC Gold there are more options. You could, for example, have three pants. You might have one heroic pants, one Kara and one of the designed pants. The bis might slightly edge out the other items. Vanilla would take you from the dungeon up to the upgrade in that phase.

TBC gear was by far the most memorable, but Vanilla's gear is the most distinctive. You have DST, stunherald/lionheart, Ashes of alar, warglavies, spellstrike/spellfire/shadoweave sets, Latros shifting sword, the sun eater (not meta but still a status item back in the day on priv servers). There's an abundance of items that can be used, but they're not quite the same as vanilla. In wotlk , things go downhill quickly, but usually due to two challenges. Naxx with 15x2 is big Oof.

I just started playing TBC Classic a week ago, and as a new player, I'd like to get directions for the zones as well as dungeons and raids in Outland. It is possible to play them as they appear on the map. However I would rather play the lore in chronological order. I completed all quests in Hellfire Peninsula and the two dungeons of Hellfire Citadel and then all quests in Zangarmarsh in the two dungeons that are in Serpent Lake. Now I'm faced with quests in several zones and I'm a bit confused.
It is too easy to view it through a commercial lens. There's no "chronological or overarching story" to the quests for expansions. A majority of the quests are contained within their own zones. There was no grand story telling back then. Also, at 68, you have two options: Shadowmoon or Netherstorm however neither of these zones have anything to do with either of them and are both completely separate things, which means there's no right order for the story. For raidsyou'll need to visit Kara > Gruul’s > Magtheridon> Tempest Keep/Sepernt Shrine (again there isn't an ordered order), Hyjal Black Temple, Sunwell. ZA is fun and exists. But, as with all Trolls, it's never "in" in any way.

TBC was developed as an expansiongame, and playing a TBC server gives you access to all Classic content (though it's outdated). The servers are now considered separate games for those who like the classic version of the game.

Wow classic is gone. I would suggest tbc to anyone who wants vanilla. Are you a brand new player? If yes, I recommend to try retail instead. It's more refined, and has a number of cheap WOW Classic TBC Gold improvement in quality of life.
