Do you have stores close to your house? Instead of driving, ride your bike. Not only is this better for the environment, you also get more exercise.
Need to go to work? Use public transportation for the same reasons as above.
You'll be killing two birds with one stone!

-WALK
-RIDE YOUR BIKE
-TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
If you live too far away from everything to do the above, buy a more fuel efficient car.
It's so easy and so beneficial!

The cars are too expensive.
Instead, you should include a cheaper alternative.
I'm not exactly how it works, but if you happen to catch the garbage truck, ask if they have waste from the garbage that you can use. That actually works as fuel for the car and supposedly works much more efficiently than gas from a gas station.
