How to begin... The long awaited Simpsons Movie...
This is one fantastically spiffy movie, and not just because it has Green Day in it, the plot is hilarious, and they've managed to not just leave thread's hanging, as in they've had an answer to everything in the movie.
THIS IS THE MAIN PLOT. Highlight below if you wanna read some of what happens.
Basically, they begin with the Green Day concert. They get booed when Billie Joe starts talking about the environment, and as they are playing on a floating barge on Springfield Lake, because the lake has such a high toxic reading, the barge starts getting eaten, and they go down like a ton of bricks, of course, playing the violin [as one does.]
The town starts to clean up the lake, and all is well until Homer puts a whole massive container of Pig Crap into the lake, causing it to mutilate creatures. The town is then fully put into a dome with no contact with the outside world, and so on and so forth. I can't say anymore cause I am quite frankly quite tired. Go watch and see what happens!
So yes, it is very very funny, and well worth the wait. The 3D-type animation gives this movie an added sense of style.
And in true 'At the Movies' style, I'm giving it 4 1/2 stars

lol, Green Day were awesome in it!.
everyone in the cinemas was laughing when tre got hit in the nut, i smiled, because it was tre, and because green day were in it! woo!

I love the Simpsons show, but I have to say the movie was a but of a letdown. It just didn't have that witty edge the show does.
Still, it's pretty funny and worth watching, I would say.

yeah, but that's what starts off the whole saga. Without them dying, then the story couldn't move forward. But they're still alive now, so it's not really that bad.
