Movieworld & Dreamworld.

I've put this in the life section because I couldn't find a relevant catergory.

As some of you australians & non-australian may be aware, there are theme parks in the Gold Coast. (Queensland, Australia) Here are 2 of my favourite theme parks, which my family & I visited in 2oo6 during our big move from state to state. (QLD-WA.)
Here are some of the rides are each park.

Dreamworld

The claw.
You'll be propelled 9 stories high, swinging up to 75km/h while spinning 360 degrees. Me & my dad went on this ride just before we left for the day, I have to say it was pretty thrill seeking, it was like being on a 9-story pendulum, being swung back and forth. The lines were pretty short, considering it was end of the day-ish, it seats about, 15 or so people.

The Giant Drop.
Within seconds you’re plummeting 120-metres at terminal speed. This ride looks really awesome and I had been on a smaller version of it at a local show. The lines for this ride were very long, so we didn't get a chance to go on it. People with a fear of heights should be warned before going on this.

Tower of Terror.
Takes it passengers to a massive 160 kph in seven seconds before it climbs to almost 38 storeys high. Me, my dad & my brother went on this ride. was very good. They even take your picture when your being accelerated fowards at 160kph. Don't expect to look pretty when it happens. Even I didn't expect it. Keep your head rested against the seat, or else you'll find you can hurt your neck.

The Wipeout.
No hula girls or board wax here, just five nail-biting minutes of being spun, twisted and tumbled through a body-wrenching range of dumping breakers. We didn't actually go on this ride because there had been reports of 40 people being left hanging upside down for 20 minutes or more because of something faulty. Though we saw it in action I would've liked to go on this ride. There's even a robotic shark swimming around beaneath the ride.

The Cyclone.
It’s 13 storeys and 1000 tonnes of high-speed, heart-thumping twists with a hair-raising 360-degree loop and screaming sidewinder. We never got to go on this one, as I think it was under routine matinence.

Dreamworld is also home to Australia's Big Brother.

Movieworld

The Superman Ride.
SUPERMAN Escape is an unprecedented rollercoaster ride experience which travels 0 - 100 kilometres in just 2 seconds! The mother of all rides. This was the last ride I went on and certainly the best. It starts off in the loading docks of the subway, then the patrons are taken through the subway when an earthquake happens, and the only person to save us? Superman. the graphics and set up for this ride were so amazing. Befor the ride were told one sentence. "I'll save you, superman style." then the shoots up to a vertical stop. One of the best attractions to Movieworld.

Batman Ride.
BATMAN Adventure - The Ride 2 takes you on an exciting journey into the dark WAYNE MANOR Library, through the shadowy BATCAVE and onto untested tracking modules for the ride of a lifetime! In a thrilling chase through the streets of GOTHAM CITY, you will help BATMAN and BATGIRL in their quest to defeat the villainous THE JOKER, CATWOMAN and the evil MR. FREEZE to retrieve the Whitney Diamond. Another one of the best rides, The simulation is awesome and the seats move just the way they would if you were really in the situation.

Wild West Falls.
Hold onto your hat! This is definitely a ride for cowboys not cowards! You'll travel past Indian reservations, ghost towns, geysers and wagon trains to put you right in the middle of a western movie set. Then you'll venture deep into the heart of a massive mountain - home to a gold mine that's ready to blow! The only way out is straight down - a 70 km per hour, no brakes, 20 metre heart-stopping drop to the final splashdown! This ride was very unexpected. All I can say is, have a spare change of clothes with you.

Scooby Doo Spooky Ride.
This ride was awesome. The whole ride you are on the tracks and in complete darkness, I have a fear of heights, but this ride was actually pretty good. Unexpected twists & turns, I screamed all through the ride. I think my dad was deaf by the end of it. The attendant said he could hear me from miles off. Defiantely a ride for the Scooby Doo fans.
