Great Job Mom
I haven't seen you in 6+ months. All we do is talk on he phone. I know you still drink, and you know I know you still drink. Yet, you still take time out your day to talk to me on the phone and ask me how school was and to tell me what's gonna be on TV and whatnot. And I answer everytime. I ask you how work was, how your cat is doing, and if anything excotong happened that day. But everytime we are about to hang up, you tell me how much you miss me and Matt.
So, I decided to call you at 1:30 today to ask you if I could come over. You say yes, and how you're gonna cook me a nice turkey dinner and how we're gonna make cupcakes and everything. So I start to get ready, take a shower, put on make-up, the whole 9 yards. Then, I call around 3:20ish when Dad gets home to tell you that I'm coming over. You don't answer. I call you 2 more times. You don't answer. I leave you a voicemail, stupidly assuming that you're in the shower or something. Then, Dad drives me over to your house.
I knock on your front door for a few minutes. I call you again. You don't answer the call or the door. I knock on the door again. Then, I move to your back door. I knock on the back door for another 4 minutes. You don't answer. I return to the front door and knock harder. No answer. By now, Dad is pissed, so he gets out of the car and pounds on the door. And you still don't answer. So me and Dad leave, dropping F-bombs like there is no tomorrow. I'm pissed. I'm angry. I'm heartbroken. I'm confused.
I can't wait until you call me so that I can hear your excuse. Did you forget? I'm sorry I'm not important in your life anymore. Did you pass out from drinking? Then you're just pathetic. I was never pissed at you up until this point. I defended you when Dad and Jess made fun of you. But congratulations, you've just fucked up your relationship with your youngest daughter more then you ever had.
But in all fairness, what 14 year old girl needs to see her mom?
Great job Mom.

Oh my gosh! that is so sad! It sucks, but just wait. You'll make something of your life, and she'll be seeing your face in the newspaper and magazines and TV and hearing all over the place about how successfull you are and she'll wish she was a better mom. Everyone pays for what they've done at some point. Everyone.

I feel the same way about my dad.
Especially since he says he's been sober for months even though he's over right now, I can tell he's been drinking, I can smell it on him and I guess I'm not going into work tomorrow, cause I don't want to drive with him.
-_-
I'm here if you need someone to talk to..Not that you have to or anything.

i know how you feel. my biological mom's just like that. she comes over the house a couple times a week though, but never to see how i'm doing in school. she comes over to use my stuff, without asking. and when she hears im not doing so well in school, she critisizes me for it, instead of trying to help me out. whenever we talk, she starts calling me the f word, and wishes i was never born.
so, i also know what it's like to get a dissapointment from your mom. i hope you feel better though.

It really upsets me when parents aren't there for their children. I'm sorry. I think some day soon, you should give it another try though.

I know it always sucks when I hear from my mom about how much she misses me, and then she says I cant come for the weekend for whatever reason. But that just sounds ten times worse..
