Teenage Pregnancy.
It seems to have become a fad of some sort. I mean, how hard is it to go on the pill or have that guy take a second and actually use protection? Just think of the child and how it would change your life. You most likely would have to rely on family to take care of it financially, and sometimes even Physically taking care of it. Think about how far in school you will be able to go. Not far, eh?
If you have a child in high school, statistics show that you will most likely not go to college, and even if you do, in this day and age, you wont go far in the real world work. Just think, McDonald's and Burger king for life, you don't want that do you? i mean i don't, but I'm not talking about myself.
You know, im not saying to not have sex because then i would be a hypocrite. but if you do at a young age, just think of what could happen if you were to get knocked up. Your future, in my opinion, would be screwed. I say, if you care anything about your future of your family's for that matter, you would do whatever you can to prevent pregnancy.
Thanks for reading. I'm planning to delete this soon

The guy I like is 21. He has a two year old son. I'm assuming Noah was conceived back in the day when Chris was 19ish. So technically although he was in college it was still a teenage pregnancy. Even though Chris is the dad, he really is a great dad. He actually married Noah's mom and they were together for two years. She cheated on him and left him for the other guy...so now they are in the midst of a divorce. You would think this would definitely take Chris out of school. I mean a baby costs a lot of money and a divorce definitely costs a lot of money. But Chris is still in college. He is extremely smart and responsible. He lives on his own, takes care of Noah every other week on his own. He has two full time jobs, one as a youth minister at his church and the other working at a Walmart distributor. He works the night shift, 5pm to 5am. Which i think actually might be second and third shift. His life isn't easy. But he is doing it and doing it well. The only problem he has is getting enough sleep and dating me...which hasn't happened yet because of all the stuff. Sad for me...but I'm proud of Chris and I respect his decisions. After all, he has the cutest little boy in the entire world to look after =]

My Nana had my Auntie when she was 16. It was pretty rough for her at first (my Auntie slept in a drawer for the first 3 weeks of her life), but she ended up getting a really good career and earning what she needed to support herself.
Even though it's a different time now, I still think that it depends on the person. I was on the bus once and a girl, about 17 was feeding her baby (about 7 months, I think) Coca-Cola from a baby bottle.

My biological mother had me when she was 30, under extremely harsh and rare circumstances.. yet, she gave me life and put me up for adoption... hence wwhy I'm here today. She wasn't ready to be a mom even at thirty, but everyone's different. Some people have babies when they're in their teens and keep their children and raise them while others wait til marriage to have kids. In my book, I honestly think that it all depends on if you're ready or not.
If you ever need to talk, I'm here to listen.

well of course there are irresponsible idiots when it comes to teenage pregnancy, or anything for that matter. but i was just saying that because you presented the blog in a rather distinct manner that seemed like all teenage pregnancy is a bad thing. D:

Im not saying that it is that way with everyone, there are people out there that are responsable enough to have a child at a young age. and OBV im glad she did have you, or i would not have my brain twin

my mother had me while she was a teenager, and that didn't stop her from doing anything. it hasn't stopped many of my friends either. having a child has actually inspired a lot of them.
good blog.
