A breif history of a Blarg!
No, I'm not gonna put the poor spelling disclaimer on top of this blog like I have with all my old ones. I also removed it from the top of my profile. Over the past years I learned to spell like a big boy. It happens, yanno?.
So I think I joined GSB when I was like 14 or 15. I don't quite remember really, and it doesn't matter too much. I used it the most when I was around 15 and 16 years old. My biggest downfall of GSB was at the beginning of the summer of '09. A few friends of mine from school encouraged me to get a facebook. Just like every other facebook user, I became an addict. That was about when I just sorta forgot about GSB.
The timing of my getting facebook is mostly of what I had to do with my hiatus, but there were other reasons as well. I joined GSB when I was much younger see? Back in the day I got picked on in school alot. GSB was a place where no one knew me, and I could be anyone I wanted to be (AKA myself). No one from GSB knew me, and no one who knew me in person knew about it's existence. It was my second identity, my very own world away from the world. The GSBians whom I loved (don't worry, I still love you guy and gals....mostly gals) wouldn't pick on me, so I fell in love in a sense. Corny right?
Well alot changes over the years. As I got older, I gained more people skills and such and started making friends in person. I'll still always think in the back of my mind that it was GSB that helped me gain those social skills. Maybe I just grew up, but for a decent period in time, I didn't do too much talking to anyone who wasn't a fellow GSBian. Who knows?
Well, as I got older, I made more friends. Those same friends were the ones who convinced me to be social with people outside GSB (and make a facebook). Thus, I sorta kinda forgot about GSB for a while. Way to go for me on forgetting my roots like a douche.
Well, I'm back I guess. I was gonna throw in a bunch of stuff that happened between then and now, but I'll save it for another blog since its sorta a long story.
