what it all comes down to -- morals.
Your thoughts on abortion are what I want to hear, and I dont want to see any posts that just say, 'Im for it' or 'Im against it'
I want to know why. I want to know if you've protested abortion, if you've attended pro-abortion rallys, anything relevant.
You may be wondering my stance on abortion, if that is the case,
then maybe ill write my speech later...

I like that you used the term, "pro-abortion" rather than "pro-choice"

they alreayd had a choice, they shouldn't have gotten banged up in the first place
if you're going to have sex then do it protected or accept that you might have to squeeze a baby out of your vagina nine months later
if it was rape they should be allowed the privalege
I believe that it mainly has to do with personal responsibility

I'm against it except for extreme cases
but a lot of people just need to be "fixed:

i'm not completely against it. i believe if the child were to have a life in which it would be taunted and ridiculed, or would be a lot pain, then is it really a life?

people talk about the 'silent scream', of the child screaming inside the womb. physically impossible, bu it doesn't mean they wouldn't if they could. pain is still an issue

and if it's purely because the woman's a cheap slut who doesn't want 'brats' as she'd put it... she'll have to live with the mental torture of killing a child

I dont agree with it...

I understand that most people who want abortions, didn't know they would become pregnant, or thought it wouldn't happen...

but abortion is a waste of a life... I think people should be aware of the risk they are taking when having sex, and take more precautions if they do not want to become pregnant.

And I also think it is VERY wrong to be forced into abortion.

some times the baby should be taken away if the parents won't care
but they shouldn't be killed
the brilliant mind that discovered the cure for cancer was probably killed before she fully developed

i mean if i were to get pregnant now, at the age of 15, i wouldn't have an abortion. i don't think i would. i'm not going to get pregnant though. i couldn't live with the fact i'd killed my own baby

I'm for it. If a 15-year old girl gets pregnant she can't raise a child. Or at least it's very difficult. I think that she must have the right to choose for abortion. I'm not sure but if this happened to me I think I would keep the child.

I'm against it because I think that if they should use protection in the first place, but if they do get pregnant and really don't want the baby then they should put it up for adoption, so that they don't waste life (as said above), and then they don't have to bring up a baby that they either a) don't want or b) can't look after.

And then if they do get pregnant at 15, they don't have to look after it and they don't have to have the guilt of knowing that they've killed their baby... I mean, they could have killed the next Billie Joe, Mike or Tre or something like that...

It depends on how old the child is. If it's less than four weeks old it's not really a person. After four weeks it is.

if it required a male and a female to do it, then it's a human

once a male semens in the women and the egg is fertalized, I consider it human
but a big part of this as a political debate is, when is the child a human being

I'm for it. I accept it in all cases. There is enough orphans out there. I think it's better that you don't have the child at all, than to give it away or abandon it. There's no memory in the womb, so if it all is taken away, I think it's better than to remember the pain of being alone, and rejected and not knowing where you come from.

a grown human has no memory of anything if you bash in their head with a metal pipe before you kill them

I think abortion is a right not a priviledge. Those who choose to use it as a form of birth control, well as far as i'm concerned that's criminal.

However i don't think it should be made illegal, in early 20th century, mainly during world war 2, many young woman died from complications in the procedure because they had to have an abortion ilegally. If we had to resort back to that, i feel the consequences would be diar.

Strict procedures should be put in place, personally i think if you stupid enough to get yourself pregnant as a teenager then having to give birth and giving your child up for abortion is your punishment.

One of the main reasons teenage girls get pregnant in England is because they can collect upseen amounts of benefits from the government. Benefits should be more strict only those who truly need should get it. Cut off the money suply then will see how many people get pregnant in the first place.

Abortion should always be the last resort but who are we to judge what women do with there bodies.
