i think they all think they are still 20 but that isn't a bad thing there music has aged in the way that they write but they could not stay 18 forever

I don't really care.

Don't get me wrong, it would be horrible if they broke up!
But it's their decision. They have done a wonderful thing to the world with their music and if they break up, we'll all remember them as the amazing phenomenon Green Day, not as the band that broke up.

And yes, look at the Rolling Stones. They're 600 years old.

Look at some bands ages i mean Bon Jovi - 44? Aerosmith 40s Guns N Roses ok there not all together now but their like late 30 early 40s im guessing I also thin Queen would still be together if Freddy was still here. I think a band can stay together for as long as they want the age doesnt really come into it if their healthy and fit to still carry on then do so its what they love doing right?.
Sum up no their not to old especially mentally.

I know this qoute is so old but i have to reply
If one of the members decided enough was enough i think that would be it Tre mike and Billie are "brothers" i dont think in any of their hearts anyone could take each others place.

It make me scared out of my damn mind to think of them breaking up.

I agree with 'Viva La Stupid':

"Rock has no age limit as said, look at The Rolling Stones."

Yes, that's true. They're still putting out albums, but they're not making a lot of money off them. They only got about one hit off their newest album. Or was it none at all?

I mean, I'm not saying that whenever Green Day gets as old as The Rolling Stones that just because their albums MIGHT do the same thing, that I won't still buy them.

Of course I'll buy them Cool

But, what I'm trying to say is, I think Green Day will last for a long time. Not five or so years and they're done.

Come on, they're Green Day.

They're all 34, but they act 20.

Hell, they even look it.

I think their mental age will actually keep them going for longer and keep them feeling younger for longer i mean they still watch cartoons!

i mentioned that once...^^^ Laughing

i think they are far from over...they may be 34...but they act younger than 20!!...besides...they have been together for nearly 17 years(i think)...wat the hell is gonna make them drop out now or any time soon??...and that thing about mike dropping out first... Crazy

the least we as fans can do is drop this nonsense and make the best of every Green Day moment we get from the guys... Fizz

It doesn't matter to me what age they are.

It's not about the members, it's about the music.

But besides that...

I love older men. And they are all extremely sexy anyway.

It doesn't matter. As probably a hundred people have already said, look at The Rolling Stones. They're still rocking and they're like a million years old.

its a sign of greatness to continiue playing as you get older. if you can keep it up that long, you're obviously good.

plus, is it just me, or do they just get sexier as they get older?
