I got the Wembly DVD over thanksgiving break and started to watch it but I'm still pissed they didn't include Let It Die in the DVD and I still have yet to finish watching it. Maybe ill do that tomorrow if I don't wake up at noon again....(highly unlikely and pathetic)

HOW WAS YOUR CONCERT KRISTY?

I didn't completely finish it yet. When I first turned it on, my dad and I were both flipping about the lack of Let it Die -- which was undoubtedly the best song at our show. I also wasn't as keen on the whole stadium setting, but they sounded good so I guess that all that matters.

THIS IS NOT OFF-TOPIC -- RYAN ADAMS IS A FOO FIGHTERS FAN AND OASIS DAMN WELL SHOULD BE TOO
(Just had to cover my ass Con)
Anyway, concert was unfreakingbelievable!!! Seriously, wayyyyy better than I expected and Oasis put on one hell of a show. I'd pay the $80 to see either band by themselves, but to see both in one night was heavenly.

Whoa, where is that quote from? lmfao

Welcome back!

I think GSB definitely needs a six-degrees of separation rule involving off-topicness. Just saying. Laughing

That quote would be from September 3, 2007. tehe

I agree about the six degrees of separation rule! It would make posts so much more fun.

finally watched the Live in Wembley DVD in it's entirety... while i'm still pissed that they cut Let It Die and put No Way Back on it (WTF?) Dave's breaking down and getting choked up about the show and playing with half of Zep ALMOST makes up for it. And now i'm in love with Ramble On. Dave was so cute when he was singing and pacing by Jimmy Page and you can see totally see how in awe he was and how excited he was. And Taylor was amusing singing Rock and Roll.

It's a great show. The show itself is better then the Toronto one in Everywhere But Home although that DVD gets kudos for all the extras and stuff and it's different then Skin and Bones. But yes....

This topic has been inactive for more than 30 days. Do not post unless you have something important to add.

THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. omgno

I miss this thread, and even though there's no new Foo news (except the fact that Taylor said the Foos, while on hiatus, are still working on a new album!), I had to reactivate it. :p

They're on hiatus yet working on a new album? That doesn't make sense XD

Dave plays drums on the new Prodigy album though. That's something Con

oh wow omgno that is most definitely not okay. And I also have no idea how you can be working but on hiatus, haha. The Foos are complex like that.

I totally read part of that article wrong and ended up going "Hawkins is expecting his second child with... frontman Dave Grohl?" Laughing hey, stranger things have happened with those two.

I'm okay, mostly wishing I could hibernate through the rest of senior year, but attempting to deal. Razz It has been WAY too long, like, since about Christmas. But hockey just ended so now I have way too much free time on my hands again, wooo. How's your life been?

HAHAHA lmfao Too funny. tehe

Life's been good, short of stressing about school and starting to seriously think about college. I keep thinking I'm a senior since I'm in mostly senior classes, but then realizing that I'm not. Rolling Eyes
