Are you for the future or not? Im talking about the future with all the robots and stuff. The future where we drive 350 km/h cars to work and can get to mexico in an hour.

Personally i'm against it. I mean, yes we get better tasting burgers, and low fat chili dogs, but what about responsibility? Are we going to have to just press a button then breakfast is made, what about the burnt toast, the feeling might be bad but you will never get it again. I hope there is some kind of miracle or something to somehow stop the fast coming future and put it back another 50 years.

Thats just my opinon. Whats yours??

Personally, I think humanity needs to go back to its roots, not charge forward into the unknown. I could well be wrong, mind.

i want to know exactly how we can possibly make arguments for things that havent happened and may not. the thing about debating is that it does require some amount of evidence.
and whats the point in conspiracy theories? you say youre paranoid without fully understanding the condition. theres a reason there are cameras everywhere. if people could be trusted, we'd have no need for government OR security systems.
so dont be a fucking idiot about it.

paradoxical, there is evidence. Ever watch discovery channel? well on there there are stories and stuff about robots in japan, that ARE made. there is a house called "the future house" (or something like that). You wake up and it detects it, so it makes breakfast, and gets your clothes ready for u. (the options were pre-set, like whats gonna be for breakfast.) everything is done for you!!!! from flushing the toilet to starting the car. the only things u have to do is auctially take the shit and piss and make your bed (and we all know how much fun that is). otherwise its BORING! in japan they have a maching that will ALWAYS hit a baseball. its pathetic. like go to a ball game and sit down. "the pitcher throws, and its a hit! another homerun! omfg! who could have guessed!!!!!??????"

my point is that there is evidence, and in the past ten years we have taken what we did in one hundred years and doubled it. the rate were going at is irreversible. in 10 years we will be driving hydrogren cars and driking caffeen free coffee. (i know it exists but everyone will have it.)

obviously we have technology. but its not necessarily the direction the future is headed in.

I think we won't get there till years and years and probably centuries from now. To drive a 350km/h car - you need the reflexes to match, so I think we're still pretty far from that stage. Yeah, of course, some things that are already invented seem crazy, but still we're really not going that fast. There are certain things in that future that I personally concider wrong, but I know I won't make it there, and when those things do happen, people will be different and their views on life will be different.

it's doesn't matter if i'm for the future or not, cause it will come sooner or later.

If you mean am i afraid of change, well no humans have being evolving for years emotionally and physically, we adapt to our surrounding thats what seperates us from the rest of the animal kingdom.

Try not to live in fear, because fear can easily turn into hate.

I have no desire to really think about the future. Obviously careers wise, I have to, being (GAH) in Year 11, but I don't like to like about how it will be. It scares me. I much prefer the past.

I'd rather not look toward the future...robots, people getting fatter and fatter...the world will eventually crumble from all of this pollution..people will die

I haven't really thought about it.
But for all you know, the Earth might not even last long enough to actually have this change occur.
The world might explode at any time, or that's what I think, anyway.

Why do you care about the future that's so far away? It's going to come, but I'd like to live in the moment. I personally think that the human race will destroy everything and invent everything, including immortality, and just when they've achoeved that, the world ends. And it all will begin again, the past likes to repeat itself. We'll never leanr, nor know.

People are stupidly curious. They always have to know what they can possibly do and what they can't. Which is stupid, because everything is possible. But the curiosity is the thing that always destroys them.
