How did they screw up?

it was perfect until the band started to play...
they changed the key of the song

but i hate comments like "stupid!! son of a bitch amy lee!! go to hell whore!!"

or

"what a bad preformer.... she was so flat, and she is a lir by using a piano case with a digital piano.. all I have to say is she is a fool, a liar, and her band sucks, and can not count 4/4 "

I thought the band playing was different but couldn't work out why.

I've absolutely adored Evanescence from the day I discovered them...but somehow, I think "The Open Door" album isn't as good as "Fallen"...I was kind of dissapointed when I listened to it...I think that they became, just a tad, lyrically challenged on the new album. That thing that grabbed me on the 1st album just doesn't seem to be there anymore...it just seems like something's missing.

Ben Moody by any chance? Yeah...he left. I'm pretty sure someone's already said this before, but he and Amy Lee went out for a pretty long time. If you look in the acknowledgements in the jacket, its pretty clear there too. But its a known fact. Amy said it herself. Anyhoo, they went out for a while. But Ben was like emotionally and verbally and physically (not sure about the physical abuse) and after a while, she realized that the song Going Under was about a situation like hers and she wasn't taking her own advice. They broke up and tried to stay friends for the sake of the band and stuff, but it wasn't working out. They didn't want to do this, it was really sucky and it was doubtful whether there was going to be a second album. But then Ben left. According to Amy, there's pictures of the day he left and they were all really happy. No one wanted to stop him from going. So yeah.

Trendy artist? O_o. People come here because Evanescance is a well-known and awesome band. Because the guitars strum on their heartstrings and because they change their pulse with the drumbeats. We come hear because when we hear that angel voice we get lifted up into the sky on the wings of euphoria and the music soothes our savage breasts.
