I've never read it. My dad says it's great though, and I know Billie Joe wrote a song about the character Holden Caulfield. What's it about? I might read it.

I liked the book, I just thought it was going to be better than what it was. It was good I was just excepting more out of it.

I have ... about two more chapters in the book.

It's my favourite book that I've read.

A lot of my teachers come up to me and say, "Molly, you know, Catcher in the Rye is one of my favourite books." then they, like, pick it up and look through it with some weird, goofy smile on their face. xDD

It's great. I can identify with that guy in some moments...and how does he think...
I'm reading it now in english, cause I hate some our words.

Yeah, the character's a bit on the same wavelength as me. That's what I like about books, that I can relate to the character.

Does anyone know that John Lennon's killer claims that this book told him to shoot him?? 0.0

lmfao

that made laugh because I feel the exact same way. XD

It's still an awesome book. My dad thought it was boring because there was too much repetition and blah blah blah. But he still liked it. and so did I. I wasn't supposed to read it until sec.5 (because english ian't my first language.) but I read it last year (sec.2) and reread it last week. It's even better the second time. or third. XD

I read it around October, somewhere around the beginning of the school year when I found it in my class library and of course thought of Green Day.

It's a pretty good book,I think I should read it a second time to really get the feel of it.But all in all a kickass book.
