I'll try to sound smart, since i have yet to see the Brit version. I can't watch it on my computer >.< I can already say, the guy playing Sam is NOT hot...... at all..... Bring me John Simm plzkthnx
SirJackles Idiot Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 525	October 9th, 2008 at 10:10pm okay, well, of course it's in NYC. there's a great scene with couple of kids cheering on Sam as he fought hand to hand with the kidnapper who did a runner. ("BASH HIS FACE IN" "I'm trying!" the scene where he got hit made me jump. but the accompaniment of Life on Mars was lovely. I love the confusion over late 20th century tech, and i almost got choked up when he saw the Twin Towers. They said he was from Hyde (NY) i was like BRIT RIP OFF that's all i'll say, i can't be a good critic when i haven't seen the Brit version.i ll let ya'll know later

My laptop gets angry when I try and watch it despite being fine with anything else. : / The thought of a naff rip-off makes me sad, though.

You should definately watch the UK version, it's one of the most stunning, inspiring and hilarious series I have ever seen.
