this is a book about a boy called Christopher who is 15 and has Asperger's syndrome, which means he is good at maths but not good about people's feelings etc. he finds his neighbour's dog dead in her garden, and the book is (to start with) about Christopher trying to find out who killed the dog and why. it might sound not too good, but it is a really great book and because of him having asperger's, theres lots of little intricasies (sp) like the chapter numbers are all prime numbers. it is my favourite book of all time, and id be interested to know if anyon here has read it. if you havent, go and buy it. it is worth it.

I read it about a year and a half ago and thought it was really good. I can't remember much about it now because it was that long ago. I'm going to have to read it again.

Austism is much more than that, you know...

Well, you probably do know, but just thought i'd point that out.

Well, the book focuses mainly on his inibility to interact with others, from what I remember. So listing all the symptoms of Autism may have been slightly innapropriate.

Oh, there's a bunch of things. Most autistic people don't process certain things, and don't catch some social signals people give them.

i do know but that is the main part of his autism that comes across in the book. in fact recently our local paper has been doing a petition for my friend's brother because he has autism.
