I think part of it may be that they're often mislabeled as 'punk'. People don't like that. I used to hate FOB. I mean really hate them. But now I really don't care. I have a few of their songs as well as From Under The Cork Tree, really only because I stole them from my brother's cds. But overall, I don't really mind them that much anymore. I'd never buy their albums, let alone consider myself a fan, but...they're really not that bad.

I'm not going with my dad either 'cause the whole time he'll be like "OMG this is horrible how can you like this crap ?" :O

Going to shows by yourself is okay, especially when the FOB fans who will be sleeping out will be nice to you if you choose to sleep out to make sure you get barrier. I would try that, but I'm like 12 D; If worse comes to worse I'll just go with my dad.
