Oh. Fight Club and the Harry Potter series should really be there, too.

I just finished reading The Giver. Its a good book but....its really [i cant find the word for it so...] simple to read for a 10th grade summer assignment. Well, Im glad it wasn't like last years. The Chosen was difficult but I liked that. Strangely enough.

Has anyone read a good books on time travel?
I seem interested in it all of a sudden. [Stephen Hawkings book?]
And also Greek Mythology books would be nice.

Faith Wish by James Bennett.

I read that in grade six. It was good, but yeah, an easy read

oOo, I went to the library today and since they didn't have any of the books I wanted to read I got "Wicked 'The Life And Times Of The Wicked Witch Of The West'" Its by Gregory Maguire. Its about I guess the backround to the Witch in the Wizard Of Oz.

woah, 10th grade summer reading! we had to read it in 6th grade, still a good book though.

I'm going into 10th too and our reading is "A long way home, journey of a boy soldier" (something like that). it looks pretty good but really sad

Definitely the Harry Potter series for me
The Hobbit's really good too, and I'm going to read The Lord of the Rings series over the summer too, and however long it takes.

I like After, Inkheart, Inkspell, The Catcher in the Rye, David Copperfield, The Last Book in the Universe, The Giver, The Chronicles of Narnia, Matilda, A Series of Unfortunate Events, aaaaaand I'm trying to read this really long book about the Russian revolution, called Dr. Zhivago, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it.

So basically, the list goes on and on.
