Omg I'm gonna copy your list idea because I'm unoriginal and bored.

Ahem.

1. Muswell Hillbillies - The Kinks
2. One For The Road - Ronnie Lane & Slim Chance
3. A Larum - Johnny Flynn
4. The Suburbs - Arcade Fire
5. Ogden's Nut Gone Flake - Small Faces
6. Electric Warrior - T.Rex
7. Odessey and Oracle - The Zombies
8. Face To Face - The Kinks (I was trying so hard not to put two Kinks ones on but...)
9. Kitty Daisy & Lewis s/t.
10. This Glenn Miller compilation I have. Actually there's an awful song at the end, but I stop it before it starts.

I've just realised this thread's called '10 tens', not 'top tens'. Yet it still reads as 'top tens'.

I didn't want to go overboard with the Blur loveage Laughing But that would've probably made my list otherwise.

Ogden's Nut Flake is indeed terrific. Might listen to that tomorrow.

I'm going to think about this topic and post my own list. Not neccesarily my favourite albums, but ones that are listenable from start to finish without any filler.

1. Blur
2. Suede
3. Oasis
4. Pulp
5. Elastica
6. Weezer
7. We Are Scientists
8. Hole
9. The Beatles
10. The Pixies

What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
Beverley Hills (in a year 9 art lesson, on someone's iPod mini)

What is your favourite song of 8?
Violet

What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
I've resented my parents a little bit ever since they stopped me from going to see them in Hyde Park because I'd be 'too tired' to see them and Oasis in the same week... flying to China two days after seeing Oasis apparently didn't provoke the same response Confused

What are your favourite lyrics of 5?
'Monsters of the present are the monsters of the past;
Take a look in your lyric book, your head's right up your arse!
It's unbelievable, the way you've got it all.
It seems improbable...'

What is your favourite song by 7?
Gotta be The Great Escape.

Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?
Live Forever and Slide Away sometimes makes me a little bit wistful. most of the songs on Be Here Now make me sad, but for a different reason...

What is your favorite song by 9?
either Strawberry Fields Forever, She Loves You or Twist and Shout.

When did you first get into 2?
Last February after reading my Britpop book - I sought out this mysterious Suede that occupied rather a lot of the pages, with their front man (who sounded like a bit of a twat). I fell in love with the music and the front man...

How did you get into 3?
Listening to 'Don't Look Back In Anger' is my earliest memory (I was about 4 - apparently I always used to sing 'Sainsburyyyyyyyyyyyys' instead of 'Because maybeeeeeeeeee' to Wonderwall as a kid) so I've always loved What's The Story, but I became besotted after investigating their back catalogue further on obtaining tickets to see them at Wembley in 2009. oh, and falling for a guy who was an Oasis obsessive ofc.

What is your favorite song by 4?
Babies. OMGyes

How many times have you seen 9 live?
None, and sadly I never will... (unless I get that Tardis.)

What is a good memory concerning 10?
Just general walking around and listening to them in the sunshine.

Is there a song by 8 that makes you sad?
A lot of them... they remind me of my blue phase in year 11...

What is your favorite song of 1?
embarrassingly, track 1 of their Best Of - Beetlebum Shifty
