Skadansk Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie Age: 38 Gender: Male Posts: 34 | Proof? hardly. The first point is a pretty good one. The knife may have just been some kind of gesture, and nothing else. And because you tell your family what you really think...and tell them you love them, you're going to off yourself? Those are all good points, that point the case closer to suicide, but they prove nothing. We shall forever be speculative, because thats all that can be done. |
Opheliac_666 Geek Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 449 | man she was shizophrenic. apparentely when she was young she hit her mums head with a hammer because she wouldn't take her to the museam. (sp?) i have no sympathy for her though, she should have got help. |
Lissie! Falling In Love With The Board Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 7305 | Skadansk; Yes, telling your family you love them was very unlike her. And yes, it'll remain only speculations, but those points are all at least a reason to believe there was a suicide pact. I don't know how else to put it in words. To Opheliac_66; shut the hell up. You're being very arrogant. Nancy was too disturbed for the care that was available in USA in the 60's and 70's. If she lived today, her case wouldn't be such a tragic story, because the world has developed. She did go to therapy, she was sent to different schools and facilities, but nothing was successful. There was no help to get back then. Nancy couldn't help her behaviour; she was schizophrenic, and you say it yourself! How can you be so arrogant that you say 'she should have gotten help'? -_- |
Maiku's Kind Ghost King For A Couple Of Days Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2102 | Lissie!: I don't think it would have made a difference whether or not she lived now, or back in the 70's. It all comes down to wither or not she would have been open to help. Honestly I don't think she was or would be. And if it wasn't Sid who died in relation to being with her, someone else would have.....eventually. |
Lissie! Falling In Love With The Board Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 7305 | Maiku's Kind Ghost:Nancy was open to help many times. But there was always her hospitals that made mistakes. At her first hospital, she was put in a large room with only old patients, for example an old woman, talking to herself and peeing in a corner. She was very fond of another hospital which I can't remember the name of, because it was small and like a family. After the summer holidays, it had been rebuilt and the family-feeling was gone. She ran off. At another school for disturbed teenagers, the headmaster decided to not go through their luggage. That way, many of them had brought drugs from home. Nancy was introduced to drugs at that school. The mental care was a bit crappy, especially for young people. |
Hitchcock Starlet Addict Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 12622 | I've heard a story that there was another man in the room,I don't remember his name anymore. Anyway, the story is that Sid and Nancy were in the hotel room and they were so stoned,so they passed out. After some time that man walked into the room and saw them being stoned. He also saw an opened drawer,in which they had put their money. When he reached to grab the money,Nancy woke up and saw him. So,naturally, she started screaming and attacked him. He took Sid's knife, stabbed her and ran away. When Sid woke up he saw Nancy dead and probably thought that he had done it. So that's why he tried to wash off the blood. Idk,I just don't think Sid really killed her. He loved her too much. But that's just my opinion. |
StraightFromdaFridge Geek Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 117 | I don't think there's enough evidence to say he did, but there's not necesarily enough to say he didn't, either. Yeah, having enough drugs in you to kill a horse and therefore most likely not being concious is a pretty good alibi, but people's drug tolerances always vary. I've met some crazy druggies who pop 14 Vicodin at a time, and I'd get sick off less than 1/2 that (just an example). |
StraightFromdaFridge Geek Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 117 | nihilism.: I think the person you're probably talking about was Rocketts Redglare (sp?); one of their dealers. I've heard that, too, and it's not a bad theory. Drug dealers and junkies can have catastrohpic relationships (like, if someone's not paying, getting ripped off, etc.). They can be crazy. |
Hitchcock Starlet Addict Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 12622 | StraightFromdaFridge:Yeah that's the guy. Pretty good theory. |
StraightFromdaFridge Geek Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 117 | radio havana.: I think this love was similar to mine and Kozmo's. I love him soooo much, but when he barks at nothing all the time, sometimes I want to throw him out the window... only Nancy was worse and they were on a multitude of drugs (enough to kill a horse, apparently). |
Liothegreat Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 12 | Rotten: I always kinda wondered if Nancy was pregnent and Sid didn't to miss "the life" and killed her in a high, drunken frenzy (hadn't he said he had passed out and didn't remember anything). |
CrapCake Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie Age: 27 Gender: Female Posts: 39 | Right now, I have no idea xD There's soo many theories |
coop King For A Couple Of Days Age: - Gender: - Posts: 3191 | no he didn't! nancy ordered drugs in the night she died. the dealer killed her while sid was unconscious. he found her in bathroom when he woke up. (police imprisioned him and when he came free again, he, his mom and some friends celebrated it. they went out to get drugs while anne was cooking. sid took herion and died some hours later. it was a hot shot. they found a paper which said he and nancy had a death pact.) that's my opinion. |
