Here's mine: What is a ghoul? Like the one at the Burrow. I don't get what it actually is supposed to be, because it's not a poltergiest like Peeves, so it's not really a spirit. So what is it and how does it get places?

A ghoul is referenced in 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' as an ugly creature; '[It] resembles a somewhat slimy, book-toothed ogre'.

I was always taught that a ghoul is another word for a ghost

I imagined it as an elf/gnome type thing, but less pleasant.

I imagined a ghoul to be like a more solid form of a ghost, a bit like a trollish poltergeist.

But remember the Weasleys transfigured it in book 7 so it would've been a lot different.

On Facebook when you cast the Avada Kedavra curse on someone it says that "only two people have survived it, Harry Potter and Tom Riddle". Someone must've put it down as a fact but I dunno...

So when the hell did Voldemort survive it? I've racked my brains and can't think of it...

But he had the Horcruxes so I don't think it would count.
