I met Alan once.

I didn't really. I was drunk once and with friends and a bloke was peeing near us and he looked like Justin Lee, so i screamed at him to come over so he did and his friend appeared and he looked like Alan Carr. ahhah. But I've looked back at teh Photo's we had taken with them and they look nothing like those two. Was just our crazeh drunk wishes.

ANyways, Yeah I love Alan Carr, can't wait for his book. His Dee Vee Dee is amazing. and I love TFNP. <3

I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. He came to Sheffield once. But i didn't know who he was then.

i love this dude. i met him..sort of twice..but the first time didnt really count..and they were within like 15 minutes of each other.

i went to see him at the birmingham hippodrome in november and i was waiting for my mom and her friends to come and meet me outside the venue like 2 hours before it was due to start because we were going for a meal over the road before the show thing.
anyrays, i got there a bit early because i had nothing else to do in town so just went and waited for them, then this dude came and tried to get in the hippodrome by pushing a window [he musta thought it was a door..it was like a huge one the same size as the doors and the doors are glass there] and obviously, it didnt open, so he stepped back and went to walk off and walked straight into me and was like 'oooo sorry love'
and i didnt realise until he had stepped away that it was alan carr.
and i didnt want to chase him down the road because..it would have been weird and i was sort of like surprised about what had happened.

so anyway, i carried on waiting outside the venue for my mom and that to come...then about 10 minutes later..alan carr came walking down the road and stood right next to me.
so i spoke to him for like 5 minutes and got his autograph [fortunately, it was my mates birthday the next day, and i had just brought her card and presents and one of her presents was this really weird pen so i got him to sign the envelope of her card lol]
and yea thats pretty much it.

then he went off with some friends who he was waiting for and about a minute later my mom and her friends came lol. they were mega gutted when i told them they had missed him by like a minute.

i didnt get a photo. i was on my own and only had the camera on my phone with me so didnt bother but this is the envelope he signed:
