I don't like anyone who isn't theirself.
I find them utterly annoying.
I can't stand people like that,
That "love" twilight because everyone does.
Sure there are real fans,
But I dout that more then I use too.
And all those kids who think they're cool for dressing like everyother person in the school,
But claim they're different and weird.

I used to have the mindset of "If I am what people like, then they'll like me." And I thought that would make me happy. It started when I was about six, and went on until I was about eleven. Sometimes I slip back into it without knowing. But I realized that having two-faced 'popular' people as my 'friends' because they think I'm something I'm not... It's just not good for me. Now I'm my own person and damn proud of it.

I think (or rather hope) that someday everyone who hasn't already will realise the same thing I have. Maybe then we can work it all out.

If you don't take other people's opinions into consideration then you will get nowhere in life. The world outside your computer screen is all about taking peoples opinions into account and learning from them.
You just have to accept that people are different.

Maybe she meant that she doesn't care about what others think of her. Like, whether they think she's emo or whatever, or she doesn't care what people say about her (like, stuff that's negative). If so, then I agree with her. If not, then yeah, have fun in the real world, hon.

You have to pay attention to the arguments of others so that yours can make sense and you don't sound like a jackass. If someone is giving you constructive criticism then you should take it. If you're getting advice or learning something, it's probably important. That's the kind of thing you need when you aren't in front of the computer. And hell, even when you ARE in front of the computer. It can be pretty annoying to be talking to someone or debating with someone and they completely disregard what you say. It's a good skill to practice.

Like wearing whatever clothes they want, and listening to whatever music they want without being labeled emo.

That is true, but the suicide thing just ruins it. I'm not saying all of them do it and none of them have reasons, but of those few that do it and those who do it to be emo, they ruined it for everyone.

I dont get the idea of labels.. it makes us more judgemental..i hate that just because of my music and clothes makes me automatically labeled emo or goth
