[I'm kind of surprised that no one has made a thread about her or her books yet... I looked through all of the pages but I could have missed it so if this is a double post, feel free to delete]

Stephenie Meyer is the fantastic author of the massively beloved Twilight series. The series mainly involves Bella-a clumsy, naturally beautiful/ "normal", trouble magnet of teenage girl who falls in love with Edward-a "vegetarian" vampire who, along with his "adoptive" family, have given up human blood and sustain their existence with animals instead. He also happens to have superhuman strength, the ability to read minds, is gorgeous and has been 17 for...a while Wink The books involve not only impossible passionate love but also gut wrenching suspense and kick ace action. (and hopefully the movie coming out on December 12, 2008 can do it some justice) After Breaking Dawn however, Stephenie is said to be releasing Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward's POV) and I am truly anticipating it because Edward is my favorite character Cool

The Books that have been released as of yet go in this order:

The fourth and final one (In Bella's POV anyway) is going to be release on August 2, 2008 and the cover looks like this:

Stephenie Meyer's only other book apart from the Twilight series (so far) is a more adult novel-though thoroughly enjoyable to teens as well- named The Host. The only way I can think of to explain is to call it an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"-like story with Souls who can only really exist through another species body and they have invaded and taken over Earth. However, rebel humans still exist in small pockets and the particualr Soul whose POV the story is told can never find a planet to "settle" on or a partner to settle with and so gets deemed Wanderer. What Wanderer doesn't anticipate is that the human whose body she takes over (Melanie) doesn't intend to go away and so the story deals with the struggles that go on between those two but also between the souls and humans as a whole. Very Intersting if I do say so myself, I sincerely hope that she makes it a series Mr. Green
