I kind of wish someone would have gotten their response to the whole Kanye/Taylor Swift thing. I'd like to hear them bitch about it. Hahaha.

Eh, I guess the closest thing we'll get from their response to it is Billie saying we wanna keep seeing videos from all artists.
I don't even know if that was a reference to Taylor, but it seemed like it. Dno

This is all we can get on the matter Laughing its from MTV's website Wink

Green Day, All-American Rejects Respond To Kanye West's VMA Tirade
'Kanye's always unpredictable,' Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tells MTV News.

As if Kanye West already didn't have enough people giving you flak following his onstage antics at Sunday night's Video Music Awards, well, allow us to toss a couple more names onto the pile: Green Day and the All-American Rejects, both of whom witnessed West's hijacking of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. Both had about the same reaction immediately afterward — they were dumbfounded.

"I don't know ... it was just kind of a bizarre moment. Kanye's always unpredictable," Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong told MTV News backstage. "But you can't be responsible for every dumb thing you say."
"Someone always does something crazy at the Video Music Awards," bassist Mike Dirnt added. "It's kind of a shame for a young gal and her moment, but at the end of the day, anything goes here."

The Rejects were a bit harsher with their criticism when we spoke to guitarist Nick Wheeler and frontman Tyson Ritter immediately following their performance with Wale and the VMA house band.

"That was just plain rude," Wheeler snorted.

Seriously. I want audio of that interview.
Just because every time I was sad, hearing Mike Dirnt say "young gal" would cheer me up to the max.

I think they looked a tiny bit grumpy to begin with... until they got everyone up on stage.

Tre even looked a little bored... weird.

Good performance though Mr. Green

East Jesus Nowhere FTW that day! Best performance of the night!!

I was like screaming my fucking head off just for seeing them on the camera!!

I was literally crying when they won.

And the next day, i was hopping up and down nonstop for like a whole school day screaming "GREEN DAY WON"!

At the end of the day, my friends just said "STFU MARIE!"

The VMAs were fantastic. My mom and I watched them and I was spazzing whenever the guys (and Britt) got on camera. They showed them A LOT in the beginning, it made me really fucking happy and they showed Britt a lot. It was adorable how excited she was when the boys won.

Their performance made the show. Honestly, it was the best fucking thing out there and I loved how security was chasing Billie back on stage, it made me love him that much more. It was truly the best.
