err no its as i said a belief and/or worship of (a) being(s) superior to the beliver, you could have a religeon with only one member

a religion is a system of believes, it doesnt have to involve a superior power.

Actually...religion is technically best defined as a persons statment about god. An atheist's statement about god is there isn't one. I have a friend who is Wiccan. She believes that there is more than one god. Taoists believe in a god that is undefinable and that it should remain undefined.

Wiccans dont believe in a superior power, they believe in spirits and deities, which are different than gods, anyone's life style could be considered a religion.

I'm not an Atheist.
I'm against religion.
I don't belong to any sect, cult or religion (not that I know of at least).
I believe in God.

What do you call me? Spiritual, not religious?

No, I don't think there's an anti-religious group. At least I never heard of one.

Actually, some do believe in the Ultimate Deity, or En-Sof.

I think it is wrong and saddening that American Bible bashers are attempting to get the theory of Darwenian evolution omitted from all science textbooks...

I just wanted to add that Darwin himself did not believe in his own theory after his daughter died and he turned to god not his textbook.

He tried himself to obliterate his findings but was unsuccesssful because of the support it had. So he would be probably be thankful if his theorys were destroyed.

Personally alot of his findings are important, however they are not all conclusive.

His theory has a lot of grounding in fact.

However it cannot offer an adequate explanation for exactly how DNA came to be formed.

Although I am not religious I think itis interesting that currently scientists believe DNA could originate from a silica molecule, a molecule present in earth, and it says in the Bible that man was created from earth.

I think there is a lot of truth in the Bible, but that it was not written to be the basis of a whole religion, but more to encourage morals and ethics and to try to shed some light on questions about life, but isn't meant to be taken so literally all the time.

b.i.b.l.e

Basic instructions before leaving earth.

I agree with that, the bible is a message from god, but written by man, man is imperfect so there will be distortions.

Maybe not all of his points were conclusive but in my opinion he was spot on with some of them. Like his The survival of the fitest idea is beyond dispute, the idea that its not chance and faith that got us all where we are today but that out of all the obsticals that were put in front of us from the beinning of time we were the lucky ones,it took all of creation to get us where we are now and that we shouldn't be in such a hurry to make it to the next world (afterlife) when we have everything we could possibly need right here on earth.
